McGovern is terrible.. but they need to put young Smith back at LT and move Peters to LG.... Looks like rookie Smith forgot how to play LG.

Leave Tyler Smith at tackle. Move McGovern over to center and leave Peters as the swing. Go pick up a guard. Quinton Spain, Ereck Flowers could be vets. Id like to see John Simpson. 25 years old, had started 21 games. On Ravens PS

Bummer for this season, but if that's the case, at least he won't miss additional time in the offseason leading into next year.

Good to hear that it is just a sprain. He will be back for the playoffs.

It looked really bad.

That said, a high ankle sprain is not usually just a 2-3 week injury.

That makes him iffy for the playoff game. Very iffy.

Unless it's almost nothing, it's not iffy at all. 6 weeks minimum for anything but the mildest of high ankle sprains. Time to come up with plan B. And if that includes McGovern, we're toast

It was reported to be a 6 week injury about 7 weeks ago.

He can play guard or center, which will be good. If he’s not ready, bring in a vet. Quinton Spain, John Simpson, John Miller, Ereck Flowers are names that I’d look at.
