A true story...

I ride bikes during the summer here in Utah. I ride around neighborhoods when everyone is at work. 18 miles in an hour.

I was riding on the road of sidewalk one morning and a lady delivering mail came up from behind me and was so close that I had to go right....right into a rose bush, or some kind of thorn bush! Cut my right forearm and hand...blood started seeping out. Blood everywhere...and I had to get home at least 9 miles. It was not life or death...

But, I hear what you are saying...that is why when I ride I stay out of the way of cars.
