We need to hope to win out and the Bears to lose a game in the final 3.

It looks like the Seahawks have the 5th seed wrapped up and they look like a team that could upset us at home in the first round.

Whoever wins the 6 seed looks like a vastly inferior opponent (Vikings, Panthers, Eagles).

If we win out and Chicago loses a game we would own the tiebreaker due to better record vs common opponents. Their record looks maybe easier than ours down the stretch, but maybe the Packers can surprise them this week.

At least it will be Seattle at home instead of at Seattle. I don't see Dallas overtaking Chicago. The Bears schedule is easier. I'd rather the Cowboys face the Vikings or Carolina, but if you can't beat Seattle at home, you can't beat NO or LAR on the road.

Which brings up an interesting question; the battle for the #1 seed. I'm pulling for the Rams. They'd be slightly easier than Brees at the Superdome imo.

That being said, let's get that division taken care of this week in Indy; no easy task.

I'm not worried about the Seahawks, we are not the same team they played early in the season. I'd like to see us and the Bears to meet for the Conference Championship. That would be some real old school football, probably end up 6-3.

Seattle had two FG last night till the final few minutes
At home I’m not scared of any team
If you continue what we’ve done recently minus the turnovers you can beat any team
You keep converting 3rd downs at 50% and it doesn’t matter who you play
They won’t get enough snaps to beat you

If you are worried about who you have to play, you are already defeated. In they can’t beat Seattle at home, then there aren’t ready to be a playoff team yet. I don’t care at all who they have to play. You are likely going to have to play both NO and the Rams anyway so if Seattle scares you, what’s the point?

Seattle would be a tough out at home. On the road, meh..... Who knows.

actually any of those teams we might meet are about on our level, similar teams..so im not losing sleep over who we meet, seatle would give the team extra inspiration and focus given they beat us the first go around and a revenge game might make the team and coaches prepare better..you know take out the over confident factor..

Could you imagine the angst around here if we got bounced in the first round again?

Jerry would want to bring Garrett back, half the fans would want to string him up.

Then they fire Linehan and think that fixes everything.

If you can’t beat Seattle at home, you can’t beat NO or LA on the road. So it’s really pointless to worry IMO.

As things are right now, I'd happily face Seattle at home. I think we handle that game. From there? I'm not saying much else. This Cowboys team right now are essentially the 93 Cowboys minus one key position. And so as not to be called a hater of a certain player, I'll refrain from saying who it is.

Worry about every team.

Our offense will keep any team we play in the game.

Agreed! Probably not likely to happen, but if defense does in fact still win championships in this league, maybe it's not as impossible as some might think. Us and the Bears did just beat the two top offenses in the NFC, so anything's possible.

It would be a meltdown as it should with a one and done.

Seattle looked like a mirror image of the Cowboys. They played great defensively. They tried to run the ball at every opportunity. Their QB struggled to make plays and had a "one for the ages" boneheaded move right before halftime. They even got away with one with the refs.

The Vikings looked like a hot mess. They might limp in as the 6th seed but are going nowhere fast.

I want no part of Carolina either if they are the next up.

Any team with a QB that can run I say no thanks too. Those are the only guys we've lost to this year.

Seattle didn't look so great last night. The Vikings were just horrible.

I would rather be the 3 seed and face the 6th seed.

No too happy to see Seattle.

Then if we advance to play the Rams.

I don't want to face the Eagles again as I am tired of them so I would welcome the vikings or Seahawks if for no other reason than a change of pace.
