Big Game vs Lions to avoid falling below .500 next week

Its time to put last Sunday nights disappointment behind us and look ahead to our next matchup. At Detroit is always a tough venue. We have an opportunity to gain a game up on the Egirls as they face the Patriots.

Of course if we were to lose this week then we’d be facing going below .500 next week at New England. Although Philly has two tough games upcoming including Seattle next week with their easy finishing schedule we need to stay a game up or at least even heading into our final meeting.

This game IMO is definitely a must win if we want to keep pace with upcoming schedule challenges ahead. We have what Id call 3 winnable games left with Detroit, Chi and Wash. And then will probably need to sweep Egirls to win division. Assuming they lose at least 2 more before facing us which is a high probability with NE and Sea.

Any more setbacks to losing teams will most definitely be the undoing for winning the division. We can afford to lose to the better teams we face as long as the Egirls do as well.

We conceded the entire season when we lost to the Jets and Vikings and didn't fire Garrett.

Go to the playoffs and do what? Win out? We aren't beating the 49ers, Saints, Packers, Seahawks, or the Vikings. This team is not mentally or psychologically prepared for big games against better coached and more consistent teams that play with passion. This team would get blown out the moment they step foot in the wildcard round. I'd bet 1000 on that.

I'm not rooting for a "loss" but I'm not rooting for a win either because it's not going to contribute to anything. I don't even know how to describe this team right now because so many pieces of this team are messing up.
