Big Hit by 31

How come nobody said anything about the hit that Mr. Roy Williams put on one of the Titans RB early in the game?
I think that’s when their running game went south. is there any way we can get a clip of that hit

yeah, Roy actually had three really big hits in the game..

1. The hit on Chris Brown that you are talking about..
2. The hit on David Givens, which was HILARIOUS.. you could actually see Givens flinch up cause he saw Roy coming..
3. The hit on David Givens on the sideline..

all three were highlight type of hits..

Roy is a monster..

I didn't re-watch it, but I think the hit on Chris Brown may not have been as big as it sounded/looked. I think Roy almost came to a stop 1 step before he exploded into him, losing a lot of momentum . That said, I am glad he hit Brown and not me.

It was a nice hit but I think the reason it didn't get much play was because of the fact that the run resulted in a first down.

Brown did come to an abrupt stop, no question but he had already gained the yardage needed.

(After Glenn's pick, Roy drilled the first person he saw. Unfortunately, it was Henry, who stayed on the ground writhing in pain. Roy then blocked a couple of Titans during the return.)

The one on the end line? Nice hit but not as impressive, to me. I think the WR was probably coming down out of bounds either way but it was a nice hit just the same. The thing about the RLW hit was that Brown was running down hill on impact. Chris Brown is a pretty big guy in his own right. He went from Full Speed Ahead to All Stop on impact. That WR was pretty much falling out with his momentum going the same dirction as the hit. Not as impressive to me but then I'm a Cowboy fan so perhaps I'm a bit colored in my opinion.
