4. The hit on Anthony Henry after Aaron Glenn's interception.

(After Glenn's pick, Roy drilled the first person he saw. Unfortunately, it was Henry, who stayed on the ground writhing in pain. Roy then blocked a couple of Titans during the return.)

LOL......

Yeah, I saw that. You gotta love his desire.

:laugh2:

Dawkins is a good hitter, no doubt.. and I think he is actually underrated when it comes to ranking safeties.. Roy, Reed, and Polamalu are always mentioned as the best, but I think that Dawkins is up there too.. I obviously feel like Roy is the best, then Dawkins, then Reed.. Polamalu is overrated..

Roy is the most feared hitter in the league, though, no doubt.. wouldnt you agree?

I've got the full quality version of EaglesVideoMaker's Weapon X video downloaded. Youtube crap quality doesn't do it any justice.

Absolutely one of the very best and amazing football highlight videos I've ever seen.

EVM is a freakin Genius with Vegas and other video production software.

KC Joyner said he rates Dawkins as the best FS in the league and Roy Williams as the best SS.

Dawkins does get overlooked in almost all discussions about the top safeties in the league. If you look at his stats... he was THE BEST safety in the league last season (statistically).

I agree that both Roy and Dawkins are premier hitters in the NFL.

I saw that.. I always watch Roy after interceptions because he just starts hitting people... I was like wow he just nailed that guy.. then on the replay I was like... ooops.. that was Henry.. wrong team Roy!!

But you don't think that Roy is a harder hitter than Dawkins, right?

I do think that Dawkins is an outstanding Safety, and I'm not talking about overall ability... but as far as hitting, I think Roy is a little bigger hitter than Brian. You don't?

I saw that too.

I remember when Roy intercepted a pass against the Cardinals. He was running downfield and saw an offensive guy coming towards him, trying to tackle him. Roy veered and started running TOWARDS the would be tackler. He just headbutted the guy, who simply crumpled at Roy's feet as Williams continued on towards the endzone. It was freaking hilarious to see Roy pick someone out to hit when he was running with the ball.:laugh1:

I wouldn't want to get hit by either. Ok, I'll give Roy his props ...only because I think Roy is younger and should stay In the Business longer.

Fair enough.

Here's my take: Brian is a little faster and a little better in coverage. Roy is a little thicker through his hips, rear-end, and thighs and is a little bigger hitter and a little better tackler.

I guess you could say that Dawkins is a Free Safety and Roy is a Strong Safety... and they're both very good at what they do.

The perfect Free Safety would be Brian Dawkins' head on Sean Taylors body.

The perfect Strong Safety would be Roy Williams' head on ... well... Roy Williams' body. :D

I am biased though.

The thing that makes Roy Williams special though, is his instincts. He has terrific intangibles and just knows where to be on the football field at all times. He rarely takes any false steps and is real good with angles and leverage. Add that in with good intelligence and that body built for explosion and you have a lethal combination.

That's my $0.02

Much respect for Roy ...you know that, but by your own definition, you're giving the Dawk a heavier payload to deliver.

I can live with that interpretation.

Disagree ...Brian Williams

Just about to say that, Adam. Henry got the wind knocked out of him on that one.....
