Those 2 hits by Jenkins and Newman were legal.
The wr caught the ball and made a football move and therefore was a runner at that point...helmet to helmet does not apply to runners because they are not a defenseless player.

That was a legal hit,after Troy went on and on about it being a helmet to helmet hit he came back later and said that it was not an illegal hit.I believe they referenced the head official(Mike Pererra?) in the explanation.

Jenkins and Newman were laying the wood like they were really angry. I loved it.

Gotta admit I was wrong about Jenkins. He looks like he is really gonna be a player. I loved his aggressiveness after his big hit - he poked the ball loose and grabbed it away from Scandrick and whoever else was nearby and headed straight for the end zone.

Jenkins really looks like he is gaining confidence each week.

Thank God his move in the Giant's game last year is rapidly disappearing in the rear view mirror.

If this secondary keeps playing like this they are going to become an intimidating force.
