On my movie stations, right after Sopranos on Sunday night is Big Love. Anyone else watch that show? I like it, although after seeing the way the guy gets ragged by his three wives for money etc, any fantasy I would have about polygamy is out the window ;)

It's not great, not terrible...just kind of so so to me.
But it is something to watch.

The best part of the show IMO is when Bruce Dern and the Old woman are fighting or paxton and the leader (guy who played toots from green mile) go at it.

Oh...and I would just flat out kill that one blonde wife, ok not kill (looks around innocently), just make it so she does not appear again. -evil grin-

I tried watching it the first couple of weeks. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really get into it enough to make a habit of watching it. Way too much Bill Paxton butt, and not enough female nudity!

Speaking of the "Sopranos lineup" though, I HAVE become addicted to watching the old Entourage episodes that come one before Sopranos. That's a really well written and well acted show!

The old woman, Bill Paxton's mom on the show, was Susan's mom on Seinfeld... the drunk millionare mom.

Also, if you want to see a degrading performance by Chloe Sevigny (the blonde wife) check out the indy movie "Brown Bunny." Let's just say she really gets into the "realism" of her character.

Yes Entourage is a pretty good show.

I got to catch the whole first season in one night as it was on HBO/Demand and I had missed it and since then I have watched the show.

Like Pivens character and I like Drama...drama playing the comedy role ala Pauly on Sopranos.

Another good show I enjoy, on Showtime, is Penn and Tellers BS.

The new season started a week or two ago, but I like the show.

They take a topic and look at it different ways and I usually get a good laugh out of it.

Be warned that if you have a problem with language you may not want to watch it, or at least make sure there are no young eyes and ears in the room.

I have been following it for the most part only because it follows the Sopranos. I like the actors mainly but it is entertaining.

I still can't wait for season 3 of Deadwood and Entourage in June, with the Final season of the Sopranos in Jan. Followed by Season 2 of ROME in March and season 4 of Deadwood.

It's a pretty good show. I like it mainly because of Bill Paxon. He kills me when he gets upset and he sounds like his character from Aliens :D

Entourage I can take or leave. I watch it mainly because it comes on before or after the Sopranos/Deadwood.

I couldn't get past the first episode. Same deal as Six Feet Under.

I'm just not into the soap opera stuff unless it involves the mafia, ancient Rome, or the wild west. ;)

Aliens is one of the most underrated quotable movies ever. So many great lines in that movie! :D

Just found out the new season of Family Business started on Showtime.

For those that have never seen it, I think it is an ok show and sometimes pretty funny.

It is an adult show and without a doubt not something for small ears or eyes to watch and hear.

The premise of the show is the guy some of you may have heard of, Seymour Butts (real name Adam Glasser), is in the adult films business.

He makes adult films and the show is about the business side of it plus his own personal life as a single father.

His mother works in the business, the business side not the films, and his cousin stevie also works in the business.

Cousin Stevie is an older guy who is not the best business man and always messing things up.

It is a pretty good show to waste half an hour watching.

Once again it is not for young eyes or ears or those that would find language and nudity offensive.

If you find yourself wanting to check it out you can go in the special, than After hours section of Showtime on demand.

I think the first episode of this new season airs again tonight around 11 pm est tonight.

I also love Entourage. I blind bought the first season DVDs and watched some of the second season On Demand. What a great show. Drama has me rolling about every 5 mins.

As you could guess, most people in Utah despise Big Love. The show is only so-so but that type of thing does happen around here, especially out in the boonies.
