If that's the case, the OC failed...along with the QB's coach.

Some people crumble under their own mental pressure. You see it all the time. They can prepare all they want with all the expert training, but in the critical moment they get into their own head and all that knowledge/practice temporarily evaporates. I think that's what we see in Dak and why he's so inconsistent. Sometimes the self-inflicted mental pressure isn't there and he's great. Other times it's there and he is terrible. It's been more prevalent since his ankle break.

It's not a quality you want in a franchise QB. It will lead to him choking in the big moment again, unfortunately. Who knows, maybe someone like Kurt Warner teaching him could mitigate that. Maybe not. We're stuck with him for two years. We need to try SOMETHING.

His ex-girlfriend also leaving him last March certainly didn't help. He truly was head-over-heels with her.

On a personal, non-football level, I really feel bad for the things he's experienced in his life. So many hardships and still he remains a nice, friendly, positive guy.

Kellen's responsibilities include training and teaching your QB .

Nobody seems to talk about that ...
Yeah, I'm sure the QB guru McCarthy doesn't know what he's doing with Prescott either.

You're obsessed with your Moore hate. It's a scapegoat.

So true. Dak's a great person with a big heart. Plus, he's now very rich. Natalie Buffett is going to regret leaving him.

I will say compared to like the rams and years past we at least looked like we belonged out there- defensively really. Dak was really bad but you came away from this game saying this game was winnable
LOL All the way back to 2014, the playoff games have all been "winnable" so garrett was about as good as mike.
Both could not win in the div round.

The defense kept dallas in the SF game so kudos to the def, but mike and km for offense sucked.
mikes game mgmt sucked
The team was not ready, they were fired up, but that is not ready, prepared is ready.

Yeah, we've never drafted a stud QB in the first round before right?
So why do it now, let's keep trying to make chicken salad out of chicken stuff at QB. We can piss away 1st rounders on RBs and safties but no, cant take a shot at QB

Now that the dust has settled, it was a good season. Not great but good. First times since the 1990's that we have had back to back 12 win seasons. To me Kellen needs to go along with a handful of players. Big Mike did a good job, but he needs to push Jerry harder to get some better pieces on the field.

The team came out tough and ready vs the 49ers. One player ruined it, but overall it was refreshing to see our team prepared for battle in a big game. That's why Big Mike is staying.
Great post.

Been a big Mike fan since day one. His overseeing the team has been very good. I don't remember a game where they didn't play hard for him. I really think the players like and believe in him. I think there's a lot behind the scenes that we fans don't get to see.
