Why our 3-4 look nothing like Pittsburgh 3-4. I can't wait until Burnett come back because the Defense gets nothing from Singleton. After watching the game the only player that could put any pressure on Brees was Ware. And that was a step to slow.

I was a dissappointed in only getting two sacks but the pressure was a lot better, watch that last series at the end of the game, Ellis pressured Brees on the final two plays. Ware was getting good pressure.
Also good to see that Zimmer is going to be a lot more aggressive with his blitzing, much like the '03 season. Only this time we have the corners to make it work.

They threw a lot of formations at Ware and it kept him thinking instead of reacting. Singleton is just flat out slow, IMO. Not suited for 3-4. Falita may have something to say about this in a bout 3 to 4 weeks.

Maybe it's because they have been running it for past 100 years and this is our first year???

It was 1 game. One, uno, 1. It is virtually impossible to compare the 2 teams, but after 1 game it is really beyond even impossible.
