Haha, I can't even watch that video since it is on a CBS website :(

This has to end!

Wow. Completely fortunate that there was so little traffic at the time. That could have resulted in a lot more misfortune.
I hope that was the driver I saw running away from the truck near the end of the vid.

I live in Dallas.

Don't know what to tell ya then. I can, in fact, guarantee you I have no CBS/Showtime and I can not view anything CBS related on the internet. I am not lying, I promise.

I noticed on your profile it says Richardson, not sure if that suburb is part of Dallas proper in relation to the blackout.

Haha, I don't suspect your lying. I'm directly on the border of Dallas County and Collin County, so maybe I'm a tad bit on the better side of the line.

You don't really want to watch someone die in a wreck.

I didn't post it to "see someone die in a wreck". At the time I posted it, I was not aware the driver died. It was an unusual occurrence to see a wreck like that, just as it is when there is actual footage of a plane crash. Not because of the death, but because it is such a rare occurrence to have it caught on camera. I am saddened to see the driver passed away.

Holy moly was there any reason given for this? Something caused the truck to go flying off the highway. Perhaps the truck driver experienced a health issue.

I'm in LA and have TWC and can access it just fine

Excellent news! Will you or someone, at least, acknowledge the fact most of us here in LA are experiencing problems between Time-Warner and CBS? I feel like I am trying to prove a myth like Bigfoot or the Lochness monster here, heh.

the contractual dispute you speak of would have nothing to do with web access though.

Yes it does for Raycon/TMC customers. We are blocked from viewing web content as well. All I get is a screen littered with "attn Time warner customers, you are not allowed to view content online" and "call this number to tell them you want your CBS back" and other stuff.

This is what I see trying to navigate any CBS related site...

Time Warner Cable Customers: Content Not Available

Another source of proof....

CBS Blocks Online Programming For Time Warner Cable’s Internet Customers

The battle between CBS and Time Warner Cable has spilled over into cyberspace: The network says it will bar people who subscribe to TWC’s broadband service from seeing full episodes of TV shows normally available on CBS.com. “As soon as CBS is restored on Time Warner Cable systems in affected markets, that content will be accessible again,” says spokesman Dana McClintock. TWC says this goes too far, showing “utter lack of regard for consumers… including our high-speed data only customers.” Since CBS “enjoys the privilege of using public owned airwaves to deliver their programming – they should not be allowed to abuse that privilege.” TWC has about 11M broadband subscribers.
