By no means am I saying that week 2 is a make or break week, but to start the season with 2 wins on the road will be huge for us... We play Tampa at home and we can possibly be 3-0..That Bear game is going to be tough.. But to start off 2-0 and possibly 3-0 will help us a great deal.. THis week is important..Lets not be too confident, Seattle is not a great team, but its NOT an easy place to play... I can see flags flying everywhere for false starts...

Big week this week.. lets go Boys

I think it is important on 2 fronts 1st coming, winning on the road and 2 getting another win in the NFC. Division games and Conference games can come back and bite.

When you only play 16 games, every week is a big week. This isn't baseball.

That being said, it would be nice to start off with 2 road wins. A loss to Seattle basically negates the win over the Giants, IMO.

Seattle is average. I wouldn't place them in the top 10 in the league, nor the bottom 10. So if the Cowboys think they are in the top tier, they need to prove it by beating an average team on the road.

I noticed the Cards only ran for 40 yards in the game. Did anyone see it? Is Seattles defense that good or Cards run game that bad?

I think this game will show if we have really turned the corner or are we the same old Dallas Cowboys. Must win in my books. Must put our stamp on it.

A bit of both but have to say the Cards have no running game to speak of.

Don't sleep on Tampa Bay to give NYG some trouble either.

I watched Tampa vs Carolina and Schiano reminded me a lot of Harbaugh in how he calls a game.

If they get Doug Martin going they can beat the Giants.

Yeah, not that I've paid super close attention to the situation, but I have a feeling Schiano is going to be a good one. I know Boomer Esiason was saying some very positive things about him last night during the Ravens game.

We still have more talent than all these teams and should win, though.

If we are looking at other NFC East games, I look for the Ravens to beat the Eagles as well.

I think when the Ari QB went down seattle was not scared of the pass.

They could also give us a hard time in a couple weeks.

Seattle is tough at home but we need the W its one of the easiest games on our schedule. Whats good is the giants will shadow a lot of teams for us. I know its not a great way to determine but being able to watch them play teams before we do will help. Tampa looks better this year so that game got tougher. Bears will be tough and the ravens will probably be the hardest test of the season for us not counting playoffs if we make it. Good to get a bye week to prepare for ravens but early bye weeks do kind of suck. Carolina didnt look so good sunday but theyll be different by the time we play them. They had a top 5 offense last year. We could for sure start the season on 6-0 5-1 even 5-2 no too bad.

I seriously doubt if they are taking Seattle lightly. We should win that game though.

These next two weeks will say a lot about this team.

The Seahawks are solid, but they're a team we should beat either at home or on the road and if we want to call ourselves elite we need to take care of our home stadium and beat Tampa in our home opener.

We'll see, this team has had a tendency to "eat the cheese" in the past. Hopefully, those days are over.

True but then that is why Garrett is stressing to the team to put the last game behind them and focus on this coming game.

I think AZ had two backup OTs starting and, of course, Skelton at QB. Nobody running the ball with that combination.

Seattle will be tough, as it's one of the hardest places to play. I expect a closer game in the first half, then opened up in the second.

Seattle is starting a rookie QB, he is mobile from the looks of it. Set the edges again, try to keep him in the pocket. He may make those rookie mistakes for the defense to take advantage of. I can see some new blitz packages from Ryan which we did not see against the Giants.

Garrett will call normal offense until second half, depending how things go in the first half.
