Bigg vs Suh? were does suh normally line up? and do we think Bigg can overpower Suh in this madden match up:D ....Or is Suh just to physical and too much hustle for Bigg and the cowboys interior Oline.

Well, I live in Michigan and the ONE thing the Lions have going for them is that Dline. Suh, Vandenbosch and Williams can BRING it on the inside. We won't be running it too much on the inside: BUT they can be had on the edge like Buffalo showed last week. I've gone from totally hopeless with Wade at the helm to completely confident with Garrett. We'll win this game. It will be relatively close but we will win: make it 28-21.

Suh is very likely going to give this O-Line, last weeks great game and all, absolute fits.

I think Bigg can handle Suh and anyone in the league if he gets his hands on him. Suh is way too athletic though and agile for a guy his size, he won't be able to keep up with him all day.

Yes. I'm a Nebraska fan, so naturally I watched Suh every game he played last year. The dude is a MONSTER. This game in general should NOT be taken lightly.

I am too. I've been watching him for a while and I know that he's a tough, tough dude to be having to face.

He's been having a darn good rookie year as well so it's going to be a big challenge for our O-Linemen.

Another Husker fan here. Suh was amazing in college, probably the best DL I've ever seen. Maybe a Reggie White was similar, though I don't remember him at Tennessee. Jerome Brown is another, but Miami had so many great players in those days that I don't remember focusing on him too much.

It always amused me when people would say that Suh would flop in the pros... I can only assume they never watched him play.

Funny someone posted this, though, because I had the thought the other day that I wonder if all the people who were calling for Gurode to be benched or even cut really want to see Phil Costa going up against Mr. Suh.

Sapp on Suh.

suh will get through the line and get pressure this game, but i expect they will be double teaming him regularly and that should be enough.

btw those people saying he would bust in the pros never EVER watched him.

I wish we had Suh. Can you imagine him in the middle and Ratliff on one end with Spears on the other? We'd be dominant!

I don't know. It's going to be another challenge for our defensive line. If they can get through this, having already been through a game with the Giants' defensive line, then we should have some good momentum going into Thanksgiving.

Oh my god, I agree with this guy!

On which part? That we would be unstoppable with Suh, or that our offensive line will have a boat load of confidence going into Thanksgiving if they can overcome the Lions' this week?

Can't say I watched him as much as you obviously, but I agree that, that talk was rediculous to anyone who watched him College. But when Mike Mayock thought, I forget the name, Oklahoma DT is better pass rusher than Suh, I thought maybe I didn't watch the guys like he did.

Now Suh has shown, what he was in college is what he is going to be in NFL. Injuries can derail him maybe, but boy that guy will be a dominating and probably one of the best ever DTs to play in his generation.

both. You made good points.

Yeah, it will be a bit of a challenge, but on the other side of the ball, their line is terrible. They struggled to run against the worst run defense in the league, and they had a hard time protecting Shaun Hill.

On top of that, Hill still looks very uncomfortable with his healing left forearm. He can't be looking forward to playing against the Cowboys.

If it actually is...Big vs Suh...it will be no contest. Suh will destroy him.

I can tell you that if he was playing against Oklahoma this week, I'd have a huge smile.. since he's playing against the Cowboys.... not so much.

Danny Noonan was my favorite Husker for years, and then I saw man named Suh.. The perfect storm of a defensive tackle. Huge, strong, fast, quick, smart, intimidating, ultra-competitive, ferocious.. and very humble.

I'm going to be torn this week in this sense: I don't want Suh to get injured. If he comes out healthy, that's good enough for me.. but I won't lie.

If he wrecks havock this week, and the Cowboys still win, I'd still feel blackshirt pride, down deep.

It could be an interesting matchup, although he's likely to get double-teamed a fair amount with Gurode.

What Suh does best, Bigg is worst at defending. But was Bigg does best, Suh is worst at avoiding.

He's already become one of the (if not at the top) best pass rushing linemen in the NFL, but he's actually got some really bad habits playing the run, and allows big linemen to get leverage on him on inside runs. Detroit has one of the most porous run defenses in the league.

I'd expect Kitna to be under pressure, but Felix and Barber should have less trouble than usual getting to the second level.
