Bigger threat to us in the division this year, Washington or New York?

Between those 2 teams the Commanders just based on them winning the division last year.

My first instinct is the Giants. I think the Commanders fall on their face yet again. (They won by default last year, not by quality.)

But with Coughlin gone, it will be interesting. Coughlin is a GREAT coach. He permeated through that team, and he was exactly the kind of coach you need in flashy New York City. It takes guys like Parcells and Coughlin to bring stability in that pressure-cooking glitzy market.

Ben McAdoo was hired from within to keep the offensive cohesiveness, but can he provide the CEO leadership that Coughlin did? Doubtful.

The coaching advantage the Giants have had is finally gone, I believe.

Skins. I've liked just about every move they've made the last two years. They don't have a rookie head coach, and they've got a QB in a contract year and the signing of Norman to simplify things for them on defense. Plus they drafted better.

Should be a free for all this year.

One thing I didn't realize about the Giants is that even with a healthy Eli, they have had 3 straight losing seasons. (6-10, 6-10, 7-9)

If they don't compete this year, there will be house cleaning in NY.

They've spent a lot of money the last 3 off seasons.

The Giants draft has been underrated. Giants by far are the bigger threat. Eli Apple, Sterling Shepard, Darian Thompson, the pick that I hate the most they got was Paul Perkins.. there secondary is stacked. the Commanders saftey's are garbage. there run defense is garbage. The Giants in those areas improved tremendously

Washington, though I think their 1st-place schedule will be a challenge.

Skins

Better team

could you expand?

I'm not saying your wrong but currently I'm not seeing it.

Giants have the better QB, the better WR's, and I think they'll have the better running game.

Their defenses are both about equal, IMO, though I suppose you could give the edge there to the Skins based off of Josh Norman but I've got a feeling he's not going to be quite as good as everyone thinks he is.

for this year id give the edge to the Giants when it comes to corners, Kendall fuller is coming off microfracture knee surgey. the Giants have DRC, Jenkins who is an upgrade over prince and Eli Apple who will be playing this year.
