Biggest Difference Between the Saints O and Ours

You can win a Super Bowl with guys like Fujita and Shanle on your defense if your offense is explosive enough.

This is why I advocate allocating disproportionately more resources to the offense again this off season and draft. The Cowboys offense isn't so far away from being an elite unit, like the Saints.

Whoever says the Niners have one of the best O-lines in the league just isn't really aware of the NFL as a whole.

A lot of devoted resources? Yes. But they haven't run the ball as well several times this year and have given up a ton of sacks.

You have obviously not watched SF on offense.

Fix the interior OL all you want, this D will continue to be swiss cheese when it counts unless we add major resources like 1's and 2's.

We only need one draft pick at interior OL.

The rest of the draft should go to fix the defense.

I actually believe we are better off letting Robinson go so we can have more cap dollars to use on defense. We desperately need another pass rusher and two CBs. If Spencer leaves in FA add OLB to that list.

#7 rush offense in the NFL.
We have the number 4 run blocking offensive line. New Orleans is number 1. But number 4 is pretty darn good.

Anymore excuses?

And Peyton could call around a Oline with problems. Other than that they are identical:

The Saints defense is much better than ours, though.

I would add one premium pick to the interior OL so we have a power side to run towards. After that we need to focus on that defense.

I doubt it because no one can.

If you are getting killed up front without a blitz you are in a world of trouble.

Dallas is 10th in the league in pass protection- Green Bay is 21st - Pittsburgh is 24th - San Fran 27th - Baltimore 12th - Houston 15th, how are these guys getting it done? Anymore excuses?
What in the world are you babbling about now?

Rodgers, Ruthlessraper, Smith, and Flacco are notorious for holding onto the football for too long and taking sacks. Look up their career numbers if you doubt this.

Excuses? You're the only one searching for them I am giving the Saints credit for a great OL.

Who are identical? Peyton and Brees? What is your point, or lack of one?

Team defense is 15th in the league in front of New Orleans, so Brees gets zero help compared to our defense. They are 29th, NE is 30th, Green Bay is 21st, Giants 23rd - Anymore excuses?

#25 in sacks given up.
Ever heard of a QB holding onto the ball too long? Rodgers has that tag too. By all means look up the number of times sacked in his career if you doubt this.

One of the improvements Harbaugh has drilled into Smith is to take the sack, rather than hurl it downfield. Half the interceptions with almost 50% more passes.

Where do you find this stat?

Not everyone gets an all star offensive line like Drew Brees, Aikman and New England in the past. But it doesn't keep other teams from succeeding. Sounds like excuses to me.

Of course it does. Hard to hear with your head jammed up that far.

Their Offensive Line is awesome.

Brees and Romo are probably the most alike QBs in the NFL. The are accurate, mobile when they need to be, and tough.

I like our Receivers better than theirs by a fairly wide margin.

I even like our RBs better than theirs.

But their OL is one of the best, if not the best in the NFL.

I will appease the masses and give Payton more kudos than Garrett, but I am talking only about personnel right now.

Give Romo the time to throw that Brees gets and we kill people.

Time i think is the biggest Factor....

Romo really is doing it all alone

I'm not the one making excuses for our team before we even have a chance to play.Talking about New Orleans line is basically preparing excuses for Mr Tony. He knows what to do if the line breaks down.

How 'bout the TE's? As big a fan I am of Witten, I might have to give the edge to Graham by a slight margin.
