What's been the biggest disappointment so far?

- Acquisition of Dan Connor
- Doug Free's move to right side
- Tyron Smith's move to left side
- Dez Bryant's lack of production
- Jason Witten's key drops
- Special Teams

I think you covered all of them.

For me the two worst areas is the performance of the special teams and the play of the two offensive tackles. Position switch or not, to have both offensive tackles ranked near dead last in the NFL is very disappointing.

The Defense!!!

What part? I don't think they have been bad besides 2nd half of Seattle game, besides that they have been really good

Witten is hurt so not disappointed in his production since he likely shouldn't be out there to begin with guy is just tough but it is hurting team.

Biggest disappointment: the tackle position.

Dan Connor - He wasn't a big time FA pickup. He was brought in as insurance for Carter. Carters look good.

Doug Free at RT - Probably the biggest disappointment for me so far this season. So far he looks exactly like he did at LT last year. Plus his body has changed for the worse - he looks way too top heavy.

Tyron to LT - No worries. He is, what, 21? He'll be fine. In time, he will be great

Dez -- I think Dez will end up with roughly 55 catches for 950-1000 yards. Does that suck? No. Is it disappointing based on his physical ceiling? Yeah.

Witten's Drops -- Give the guy a break. Just damaged his spleen. Not worried about his drops a bit. I worry that father time will catch up with him in a big way -- but drops don't play into that.

Special Teams - I had no expectation that special teams would be any good. I can't remember a time in recent history when the Cowboy's special teams ranked anywhere above average. What do they say about special teams -- it will decide 2-4 games per year? It's a shame the Cowboys continue to ignore them.

Biggest disappointment that should be on the top of this list is Garrett.

That's a quarter of the season so far. It is unreal that Seattle could control the whole second half due to the weakness of our defense, especially considering that the Seahawks were quarterbacked by a rookie!

Now every team in the league knows how to defeat us.

Special teams. There set the tone for last week and took the wind our of our sails in just the first 4 minutes.

Offense. We never adjust to short passing game when Tony is running for his life when the long patterns aren't working. 26 passes at halftime last week. Etc., etc.

So your saying 7 points should have won the Seattle game?

I can't blame the defense against Seattle. They were on the field for virtually the entire second half.

PFF is garbage. re watching the Giants game Smith was nowhere near as bad as some claim. Even Free looked little better if not much.

As regards the Seattle game its hard to be mad at anyone in particular since SO MANY SUCKED.

Dez and especially Tyron. I know it's early but he has been downright AWFUL as a LT.

no he has not. You want to see awful google 6 sacks and Winston Justice

If not for Romo's magic Tyron would be racking up the sacks.

This is true, Romo's little spin move has avoided several sacks this year.
