Biggest Offensive problem?

We should have, because that offense was designed for Tony Romo. We didn't have him, and be it lack of playmakers, or coaching adjustments, this offense was a disastrous joke. I think it's a combination of both. I don't mind the boring play calling if you've got the talent to go all Michael Jordan with it and say "I'm gonna spin right and drop a fade shot on you, are you ready?" , but the guy that could do that was in a sling on the sideline, and the playcalling remained the same. We've been saying for years it's a team game, when everyone blamed Romo for our lack of success, but now that he goes down, where's the rest of the team? Something stinks, and it'd be silly to only point a finger at one player, or one coach. Hopefully we put a band-aid on 2015 and can blame the whole team from top to bottom (expect perhaps the defense) for only winning 4 games.

:lmao:

and Romo is made of Glass at this point of his career. Cowboys scheme is designed like he was made of Adamantium.

This isn't the 90s, so you can't out talent the league due to salary cap. You have to bring coaches that know how to scheme or else you get what we've been getting, which is .500 over the past half decade.

Biggest need this team has on offense is a competent backup QB and a better #2/#3 WR.

TE is soon going to become a need too, if it isn't already.

he sure did. sure hope he didnt blow his load though doing it.

Carson Palmer is Romo's age, he has had injuries that are as bad or maybe worse than Romo (knee and throwing elbow), has missed large portions of seasons and an entire season, yet right now Palmer is flourishing and leading a team that may win the SB this season.

This is a horrific year for TEs in the draft. It would be completely stupid to select one.

Besides, we have Swaim.

and dont know the system that the cardinals use. is their entire system Palmer centric? like ours is Romo centric?

They have far better coaching no doubt

It is Palmer-centric, yes. But they have a stack of good young WRs behind Fitzgerald, and they have an OL that keeps Palmer on his feet. Romo definitely lacks #1, and at times he lacks #2.

The Ravens lead the league with players on IR and suited up Blain freaking Gabbert at QB and beat the Steelers yesterday.

Teams do not lose every dam game because of injuries unless your coaches are beyond incompetent.

You're using the Ravens as your example? Really? So they won yesterday....have you seen their record and realized they were drafting ahead of us before winning?....they lost most of their games without Flacco

David Johnson is going to be a good RB for them too for a while to come.

They have a good young running back that we could have had easily. They also have real real speed on the outside. Killer speed. Also have a bunch of playmakers on defense. They are the ani-cowboys. The only thing we have in common is older QB's.

PS. Their headcoach is a go for the throat kind of coach. A Sean Peyton type of coach. Wonder if Jason has called a trick play in his life or a fake punt or onside kick. Guess isn't not the Princeton thing to do.

LOL so hanging 38 on Jacksonville isn't impressive? Seriously? When was the last time we scored a TD?
the Bucs, Texans, Bills, Chargers and Saints all hung 30+ on the JAGS this year.

So all we need is a good defense and our offense will open up?

I really love your logic there......

Yup,,, the offense can take more chances and it isn't forced to "shorten the game" in an effort to protect the defense. They also would get several more drives per game and shorter fields. This isn't a new concept or observation, ya know?

Sorry not buying it. Blaming the defense for the offense's ineffectiveness is bad logic and completely off.

Im impressed and amazed that a crappy team like the Texans can put up that many points with a crappy QB like Weeden leading the way. Yet we can't even score a TD when Weeden was here. What does that say about our offense and the coaching? To ignore that fact is being nothing more than being in denial.

I'm not sure who you're arguing with but the points you're trying to make, and the opinions you're trying to confer upon me, have very little to do with my posts. Construct your straw man someplace else junior,,,
