We are not going to cut our #1 reciever. He is slow because he is a possesion reciever

keyshawn johnson. this guy is slower than my grandma.

That's a good one. Bill cutting one of his favorites. Speed isn't everything. There are hundreds and hundreds of guys who are /were faster than Keyshawn who are/were nowhere near the receiver Key is.

If your grandma can go up and make the tough catches and take the big hit's I'd suite her up just as well. Key does the job he was brought here for which is to go over the middle and move the chains.

Interesting concept. Cut one of the best possession WRs in football, eat the cap damage, and elevate which WR for his job.....???

I'll give you another surprise cut possibility... Greg Ellis

Why? Because he looks like he's stuck in mud trying to rush the passer...

Read this story and check out the end of it...

I'll have to disagree ya with ya bro. ;) Greg has been an outstanding citizen and professional for the Cowboys, doing whatever has been asked of him. He provides much needed depth to our rotation and lots of veteran leadership and a great work ethic that will carry over to our younger guys like Canty, Spears, and Ware. He is way too valuable at this point and time.

Now next year, I can possibly see us trading his rights to another team for some compensation. But he will not get cut or released this year.

And I will guarantee that as this young defense evolves this year, he will make some plays for us.

No way Key or Greg Ellis get cut.

I think that A-Train might get cut and it'd be a bit of a surprise since he was a FA addition. And honestly the biggest surprises have already happened - Rogers and Cundiff.

A-Train is a very real possibility because of Tyson Thompson and Marion Barber III. Tyson Walter could be gone, but then given the rash of bad luck we have had in recent years with our O-line, Tyson may end up staying.

So now people have us cutting KJ and/or Ellis? :lmao:

Both would have trade value, hence no reason to cut them. Where does this stuff come from? Who exactly would we have at WR without KJ? We would'nt even be able to run 3 WR sets with any talent unless we motioned Witten out to WR.

Unreal.....

No kidding. Cut KJ and hello 8 man fronts every single game. Nobody would respect our passing game at all and JJ would have a very bad yr..at which point some fans would want him cut.
