am i making up the fact that in their first SB run he actually threw 0 TDs on in the playoffs? was it his INT last year (when they're defense had finally allowed points on the board) that cost them that game?
i don't have any real stake in it, and don't really hate the Pats, mostly i hate that people have overrated this guy forever. watch some of their games sometime and tell me how many times they line up with 4 wideouts, throw a 2 yard out and then remind me how to get to 4,100 yards.
as is said - its going to be real interesting to see where fans like you stand on this guy in about 2 years.

Yeah, I watched lots of games. He had to compensate for the loss of OL, unlike our Bledsoe, Tom does take the short throws first. I.e. he does whatever it takes to win.

No one is saying Tom Brady is as accurate as Aikman was or that he has the same skills as Carson Palmer in physical ability. But what he does is he simply wins. Just like Montana did, despite never having superior athletic ability or arm strength.

His First SB, he was second year player. Geez, just because you hate him, dont be pulling up all negative points only to support your argument. No Qb wins three SB, based on his team carrying him. Its the same stupid argument made against Aikman that irritates me.

Exactley. Without Brady last year, Reggie Bush might be wearing a Patriots jersey. I actually think everyone else, including Belichick, is overrated on that team but not Brady. He's more than proven himself and anyone that thinks otherwise is either being stubborn or letting hate blind them. Hey, I hate Jerry Rice but I don't say he's overrated.

That's awesome. their little run is over - and I want every Tom Brady fan to keep coming back here to defend him when his defense isn't pitching shutouts anymore. a lot easier to win as a QB when you're team asks you to 'just not lose it'. (guess i changed the subject a bit)

I really don't hate Brady. I have no reason to. I think he's overrated. Period.
I just don't think its a coincidence that every year they won the SB, the Pats led the league in takeaways. If you think they would have only won 4-5 games without him, I think you are absolutely mistaken.
