BB won by controlling everything, what diference is it if he comes in and has the same role as Tuna, or MM, or...again we can change the names of all the players coaches AGAIN...the results with the GM are the thing that stay the same....
Well getting BB would not hurt. The last I checked JJ is not getting younger. He looked bad in that presser last Sunday. He is not aging well.

If there is no change I think next year has the same smell as the last year under Garrett. They use some retread as DC already on staff so they don't have to give him a long term contract. With McCarthy in his last year there's only so much change they can make on staff on the offense. They have a mediocre season, and either barely make the playoffs and are out in one game (like every other year) or miss the cut and Jerry has wasted another year. And If they pay Dak that 59 million and have limited cap space this could get ugly fast.

We also keep assuming projections like no one else in the NFC will improve. It would not surprise me if Washington gets tons better. They have an different environment and owner who wants to win (See Sheila Kemp Ford and the Lions) and they have the #2 pick in the draft.

Philly is not sitting pat. The Lions and GB will improve and are young hot teams. NO, LAR, Minny and TB will not sit pat. And the blueprint is now out on how to beat the Cowboys.

I'm sure these heated conversations are roaming around VR which is why nothing has been done yet. I just don't see McCarthy changing much and you'll have the same old thing next year with him if you keep him.

That's what every coach looking for a job wants. lol.

Every prospective coach wants a team with talent, and to get that it has to be a team that is underachieving, otherwise the job wouldn't be open.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Belichick is currently looking for a team that is "talented, yet underachieving."

I honestly think Belichick would be perfect for Dallas (as long as he is willing to hire an innovative, young OC to come with him).

He could certainly help to solve the culture issue, which I would argue is the actual thing holding this team back from achieving in the postseason.

I just cant see BB coaching under Jerry's "Conditions"...if he does he is not the BB we want or need...
Jerry should concede. He's not the exact anyways, he has no guts anymore so might as well concede to BB.

I saw this report on Twitter/X. It does sound like Jerry is sending out a message to Jerry.

But today I heard Patrick Willis, the ex-49ers LBs talking on the radio, He was asked about Jim Harbaugh and he made an interesting statement. He said Harbaugh came to the 49ers and brought discipline to the team. Then he said, "I would rather have 11 guys playing with discipline than 11 stars playing as individuals." This, I think is what Dallas needs on defense, and on offense. Discipline. Instead of everyone trying to make the play as individuals, do your job and trust everyone else will too. When 11 guys trust each other, it is better than 11 guys who are stepping over each other to be the star of the team.

Willis's quote changed my mind about Harbaugh. He is exactly what Dallas needs.
