Well getting BB would not hurt. The last I checked JJ is not getting younger. He looked bad in that presser last Sunday. He is not aging well.BB won by controlling everything, what diference is it if he comes in and has the same role as Tuna, or MM, or...again we can change the names of all the players coaches AGAIN...the results with the GM are the thing that stay the same....
If there is no change I think next year has the same smell as the last year under Garrett. They use some retread as DC already on staff so they don't have to give him a long term contract. With McCarthy in his last year there's only so much change they can make on staff on the offense. They have a mediocre season, and either barely make the playoffs and are out in one game (like every other year) or miss the cut and Jerry has wasted another year. And If they pay Dak that 59 million and have limited cap space this could get ugly fast.
We also keep assuming projections like no one else in the NFC will improve. It would not surprise me if Washington gets tons better. They have an different environment and owner who wants to win (See Sheila Kemp Ford and the Lions) and they have the #2 pick in the draft.
Philly is not sitting pat. The Lions and GB will improve and are young hot teams. NO, LAR, Minny and TB will not sit pat. And the blueprint is now out on how to beat the Cowboys.
I'm sure these heated conversations are roaming around VR which is why nothing has been done yet. I just don't see McCarthy changing much and you'll have the same old thing next year with him if you keep him.
