Why doesn't some of it fall on Bill? He was the one who wanted a 4-3 guy (Zimmer) to run the 3-4 and learn it on the fly.

I'm no Zimmer fan, but BP is HARDLY blameless here.

No, he isn't blameless. But Zimmer has been here for years. Why is it that the defense consistently couldn't get lined up until the last possible second of a play? This occured all game long. Making the proper adjustments to formations, calling the correct defenses, and making the right substitutions is what the defensive coordinator is supposed to do. Coming up with schemes to take advantage of your personnel is what he is supposed to do. All he seems to do is put our biggest weaknesses out there for everyone to find consistently.

Why? Seriously, why? Because he has done such a great job? Check the record book. You are what you are is what BP said. We are a very average team at best. So instead of 5-11 and drafting early we are average (terrible in December) and drafting much later. The magic is gone. The game has passed him by. Time to move on.
