I have little doubt that Bill will be back.

With the Romo Movement just under way... it would be a disservice to the NFL.... let alone to the Dallas Cowboys that Bill leave Romo before he has been thoroughly guided through the life of a growing QB.

Jerry said yesterday that he wants Bill back.

I wouldnt be suprised if Jerry kills the last year of contract and gives him NEW 3 year deal

I think that he will return at least for one more year. He wants to see this Romo thing through.

Then Jerry can get Fisher to come in. :p:

I was just about to start a new thread about Parcells but you beat me to it.

I think Parcells Needs to return next year. The Man has been everything we asked for. Him and His staff Groomed our future for 4 years, right under our eyes. Who would of guessed it. Not to mention that most of the players He's drafted or signed through FA have payed off Now and years to come.

PArcells is our Coach to stay( I hope).

I think Bill knows he couldn't hold up to another three.

I'll be more than happy if he can find the stamina to coach one more year after this one..in his 66th year.

They're auditioning for the job already, imo.

A coach as classy as Jeff Fisher doesn't need extra incentive to immediately deal with a discipine problem like Albert Haynesworth as JF did.

And Jon Gruden didn't need to be on nation tv last night to have his team take the knee in an obvious loss ...

but I can't help but see a little extra solicitousness in the both of them...that Gruden handshake of Bill last night...the earnestness of the Fisher reaction.

There's something extra afoot in demeanor and degree if not in actual response.

These boys are trying out for Jerry, imo.

Now that is definitely thinking outside the box. I like it. I would rather have Jon Gruden than Fisher, but both would be decent coaches for the Cowboys.

We shall see. But I would definitely rather see Bill see this through for at least one more year. This is no doubt Bill's team, and I think the players feel the same way. They want to play for Bill and do well for Bill and the franchise as a whole.

I want Jeff...but Nick Saban also intrigues me.

Don't know what his contract was for in Miami years-wise, but I wouldn't mind seeing him follow Bill.

Bill WILL return next yr. After having NO QB play for past 3 yrs and now suddenly finding good QB play will be TOO tempting for Bill. He got his D (almost) and a QB. Both will probably improve because they are still very young. He knows that this Cowboys team can compete for a Championship. The lure of another SB is too much.

Some QB's are "coach-killers"...such as Vick.

Others are "coach-makers" if you will....such as Romo. You could also say that P. Manning and Brady are "coach-makers" as well.

I think that a new coach would pretty much keep it going the way that it is now....I don't know that JJ would allow a new coach to come in here and tear down the system that is already established and working just to have a new system put in place. I could be wrong on that, but I just don't think that JJ would want that to happen.

New coach....same Romo....same winning culture.

The bottom line for me is that I think that BP sees things that he won't be able to tear himself away from...I think that he sees something special here and he has even been saying so lately. I think he comes back.

Well, true ture. But Id say lets settle for the finale of the season, and start this on off season. It is tooooooooo early to speculate if Bill will return or not!

The greater Parcells' success during the remainder of this season, the greater the chance that he retires at the end of the year.

How the hell can you make such an assinine statement like that? Vick's job is QB. His talents are different than any other QB in the league. It's up to the head coach and offensive coordinator to design an offensive package that best fits his QB's talents. So far none of these guys have been able to do that. They've all tried to fit their schemes into what Vick does. IMO they have done more to ruin Vick's career than he's done to ruin theirs.

If you had a Peyton Manning and forced him to run an offense based on a mobile QB the OC would get lambasted. Or if you had Marino and forced him to run the option or to roll out all of the time your days as a coach would be few. So get off of Vick being an enigma. Blame his damned coaches. And also start giving Dungy and his OC some credit for Peyton's sucess. I don't think Peyton designed that offense.
