Bill Nagy anyone?

I would take him back

It sounds like he has foot problems that seem to resurface.

Also he's not that big... 6'3" and just barely over 300lbs... Not big enough for guard (been there done that) and I doubt he could beat his former teammate out at center and probably couldn't beat out Costa either.

nope not when we got

Ray Dominguez Ark 6-4 #329

Dominguez had good bulk for the next level. Flashes some redeemable qualities in pass protection including a relatively quick set. Wall-off run blocker who gets off the ball and established good positioning. Does a good job recognizing blitzes with his pre-snap reads. Three years of starting experience against top competition.

If he's so good, why's he available?

Nagy is garbage

As a blocking TE you mean? Not that far fetched, he played some of that at UW, and the boys still have their eye out for one of those.

Have you watched Dominguez in any NFL practices or pre-season games?

He was a 2011 UDFA and spent time with the Packers and Panthers but was not retained by either team.

He didn't have very good athleticism; however, he could probably improve that just by dropping some weight. He was 6-4, 334 at the combine.

Dominguez played OT in college. Arkansas does not have a true RT and LT. They flip-flop their Tackles and Guards based on Strong-Side/Weak-Side alignments.

I think Kowalski would be good in that role and/or as a short-yardage FB. Kowalski has better athleticism than ex-FB Vickers (based on 10-yard, 3-cone and short-shuttle times).
