Bill needs to get creative

It could be argued that Bill's best season as a coach of the Cowboys was 2003.

Why? With inferior talent (hambrick was our starting tailback), he was forced to get creative on both offense and defense.

We used a lot of exotic aggressive blitzes that year.

We rolled out of the pocket and used more "trick" plays than any season since.

Often, creativity blossoms when an individual or group feels they lack the resources available to solve the problem at hand.

Bills problem is that he is to comfortable and thus has become too conservative (in the case my definition of conservative is resistance to creative change).

Bill has everyone in the Cowboy organization wrapped around his finger.

He needs to take a long look in the mirror and bring in a fresh DC that is tough enough to stand up to him.

As the old saying goes; no risk, no reward.

In Bll's defense, I know those are fighting words around here these days, the trick plays were employed by a team that had nothing to lose reputation wise and was talent sapped.

The team that took the field this year had no excuses talent wise, the idea of having superior talent is to execute and have no need for tricks and mind games.

This team is mentally lacking in some forms of intangable preparation. I can't explain it, they need one firey defensive mind and one more catalytic defender to bring it all together.

Offensively Romo began to force things, the run game dryed up inexplicably and dropped balls and veteran errors were haunting.
