Bill Parcells does not want Terrell Owens

We've heard that Bill Parcells does not want Terrell Owens on the Cowboys while Jerry Jones has expressed interest in the suspended Eagle; who will call the shot? "Bill Parcells will call that shot," Aikman said.

Next we had Parcells wanting Merriman, but Jones wanting Ware who overrode Parcells to obtain him.
Finally we have Parcells doesn't want TO and JJ does.

Most likely, all of them are unsubstantiated rumor and drivel, and much todo about nothing.

That there has me confused. Which one has the most authority on the team? Bill or Jerry? Jerry can bring them in and Bill can cut them. I wonder if there is a "oops I am an Idiot" clause in Bill's Contract that gives him the authority to cut players that Jerry has signed because he felt the need too or it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Serious though, kind of makes you wonder.

I get confused trying to figure it out. I know Price was Jerry's idea, it had to be. He wined and dined the guy, signs him for a cool million. Then Bill leaves him inactive, then was forced to bring him in when Crayton got hurt. He plays a few games, catches a couple of passes, Crayton comes back, then he cuts Price. Just like that. Heck the only one who benefitted was price, he got a million for basically doing nothing.

So there has to be some kind of clause in Bill's contract that gives him the authority to cut players or have them cut. I thought Jerry was the GM and has the final say so over things like that. I dunno very odd though.
