He mentioned that the expectations in Dallas are higher, said the Ravens built from an 8-8 team to a Super Bowl Champion the next year and said Parcells' results in Dallas should have been better.zrinkill;2104791 said:His resume of not winning a Superbowl since LT got old?
Seems like it was right in line with his resume.
rlgiv;2104824 said:He may not have won a superbowl here and may have lost the team to a degree as well but the experience that has rubbed off on Jerry and the state he has left this team is pretty nice.
Bill was better than Campo. That earns him a pass.zrinkill;2104835 said:I think the Bill Parcells legacy of underachieving was in full effect during the playoffs last year.
I defended Bill while he was here and after he left ..... But I am getting tired of hearing how he "righted the ship" when most of his high draft picks were underachievers, bad position picks, or outright busts.
I appreciate the high draft picks you got right Bill ...... thanks

He won more games with Campo's players and Wade won more with his players than he did.
I expected more. I don't think that is wrong.

Exactly.Maikeru-sama;2104904 said:Yes, Eric Kuselias has been on ESPN all day trying to make a big deal out of Terrell Owens' comments.
Luckily, Mike Golic has been there to counter alot of his absurd claims.
As I stated many times on this board, if you ask just about anybody on this board in the Spring of 2003, "What are your expectations at the least for Bill Parcells" nobody would have said 0 Playoff Victories.
He left this team in pretty good shape, but there is no way he was a complete success.
I certainly expect more success on the field.Hostile;2104798 said:Parcells' results in Dallas should have been better.
I agree completely. He underachieved my expectations.
Doomsday101;2104917 said:I have to say I still like BP and still feel he was the right man at the right time for the Cowboys. In the end he was unable to achieve all he wanted but I do think he played a role in the changing of this team and think we are better off because he was part of the organization.
VACowboy;2104940 said:I agree. He certainly put the team on the right road and taught Jerry a lot about running a team. But I think his genius is way overstated. And I think TO and Golic are right, to a degree. You can't treat NFL players like high school kids anymore.
Doomsday101;2104945 said:I see BP as an old fashion in your face hardnosed coach and while some players like TO can't handle that treatment I think many others on the team needed that shake up.
