Dont be mad at Parcells. He is offering people promotions and raises. Wrath should be at JJ for not building opportunity for these people to stay. Or wrath at being 13-3 and other teams coveting our staff and execs.

If Wade is not hired away I feel we can rebuild. It's the scouting department that is being ravaged and of bigger concern.

Lets face it Soprano was head coach at New Haven College In CT. Thats only slightly better than Sacred Heart where O_ _ _ll
Dev Johnson played basketball.

I'm much more worried about the scouting dept than coaches departing.......JJ did prove himself hiring a solid coaching staff and Wade has been around a while.......I'm sure has plenty of connections around the league. I'm confident JJ can rebuild the coaching staff if need be, though I think he'll figure out how to keep Garrett.

Now, identifying top players is a horse of a different color. Dallas needs good people surrounding JJ to ensure solid drafts, FA's, etc. I believe JJ will need to make some sort of structural shift to the organization to bring in the right people. Obviously, he's not giving up GM, but maybe he'll replace Ireland now and pay some serious jack.

I believe Parcells resents the success we're having without him. It would make more sense for him to feel a sense of pride that he built this team, but instead he hates to see Wade doing what he couldn't - win with all this talent. And who knows, maybe the parting between him and Jerry wasn't as amicable as we all believe. That's all speculation on my part, but it seems that way to me.

Hmmm...last week it was Troy Aikman resenting the Cowboys, now Bill?

yea, it does suck major to get this close to dominace again and see major pieces go. all we can do is hope jones has learned over the years and he keeps doing what he's doing hte lat 4-5 years to get us this far.

Very true, Ice. I see this as a pretty big challenge for Jerry. He has to preserve and rebuild his organization, get ready to rebuild the coaching staff, and finish building a stadium all at the same time while his Cowboys are competing in the playoffs. I hope he has a plan because he needs one.
