Remember that one? THAT is what happens when you turn the offense lose and let them air it out. It shouldnt have taken another loss like this to figure that out.

I mentioned that same game today during the game to my bro in law. We add one more weapon and we still play it conservative. Although if we didnt Bledsoe might have thrown 10 INTs today.

I agree completely. I think he came out with that in mind. But after getting ahead 10 - 0, the play calling sucked.

if you guys read BP's comments about the O during the last PC before the game, you shouldn't have been suprised we were conservative for most of today

that's exactly the problem

he likes to sit on a 10 point lead (in the 1st quarter nonetheless) and pretend that running the ball into a wall of defenders for 2 yards or dumb dump-off passes or running a draw on 3rd and 14 to get a FG is going to run the clock down and "preserve the lead"...

I guess we forgot about what happened against Seattle and Washington last year

Although, it should have been at LEAST 17-0 if Bledsoe wasn't on 100 kilos of crack today

I’ll tell you this … our gameplan this Sunday will have probably 25 less plays in it than anytime last year. That was one of the things we decided this offseason. We’re going to do fewer things, and do them better. More formations, less plays. Not more plays and less formations.

looks like we won't be airing it out on Sunday<=me

I want the see the boys throw the ball down the field. I'm was really starting to get tired of seeing dump passes. We just seem so easy to defend. Every series, we run the same plays. How many plays are in our offense? 10, 11, 12. :bang2:

What's the point? Yes, we opened it up against Philly, then went back to a Stone Age offense at Seattle and Philly.

All I know is that I do not want to be the Commanders next week.

If the Cowboys offense as constituted opened it up every week they'd go 8-8.

Thank you for seeing the obvious.

Bledsoe couldn't hit a wide open TO on the same series and can't slip a blitz to save his life.

What makes anyone think we can open it up and not have at least 5 INTs?

The Eagles game was an aberration, and fans want to act like it's a rule.

Pulease, we'd get our tails handed to us, gift wrapped.

I'm glad you acknowledged as much. We weren't sitting on a lead at 10-0.

Bledsoe just couldn't make the throws.

I dunno. I saw alot more clock management plays after the 10-0 lead. By the time the coaches tried to be aggressive again it was to late because the Jags had all the momentum.

I've been saying that all along too. Leading up to the game, in all our threads discussing gameplans, things we wanna see, this is what I, and others of course, had been saying. That was one of the best games I've seen Dallas play in a while.

After re-watching the game early this morning, I could not believe how many times Bledsoe under threw TO/Glenn and Julius JOnes and all 3 of them could've been touch downs. Maybe Julius would've had to juke out 1 guy, but the other two deep balls to TO and then Glenn should both have been touch downs.

I think either Bledsoe is hurt, or his age has caught up with him.

Ever tried to do anything in the conditions they had during the game? Hot weather + rain ( which makes the humidity even worse ) is brutal if you are not used to it.

1 bad game does not = season over. Bledsoe will have 2 or 3 more games ike this wher ehe has 2 or 3 INTs but he will also have games with 3 TDs and win in dramatic comeback fashion. Cant be perfect all the time.
