Anyone here into the pool world? I love playing pool and finally broke down and got a very nice 8ft table. Im looking to get a nice cue to work with. Nothing tooo expensive just something that will hit well and be durable.

Any suggestions?

Also found cowboys billiard balls. Very nice, thinking maybe Cowboys and Steelers instead of solid/stripe. :D

Kinda pricey. I like the Viking F11 but not sure about a 500 price tag for a cue.

The Mueccis are high but they are nice.

The Vikings go down to $150 or so.

McDermott makes some good cues too.

You might check out pawn shops. I have found good cues in pawn shops before.

Is there anyone else that plays on ESPN? I don't think I've ever switched the channel to billiards on ESPN and not seen her playing. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

I used to play a lot in college. My roomie my freshman year was a big time player and taught me a lot. I would play against him because he couldn't find someone else in the dorm, and slowly but surely, I got pretty darn good. I wish I would have kept it up. Addicting sport, that is, if ya consider it a sport.

LOL so true

Hehe I had a guy when I was stationed in Virgina that tried for four months to beat me he never did; then my training was over. He pratice and pratice I go out come back after drinking a couple beers and smoke him. It got to the point no one but him would even play me because I was beating people so badly like 21 to 5 and stuff like that (sad part is I was not even in top fourm because I was working on my LaCrosse game not my table tennis game :D). Then again I have played against tournament ranked guys (talk about getting :spanking: man that was some players but hey I learned)

Ya, that's not a bad cue at all.

I personally shoot with a 19. The heavier the stick, the harder I tend to hit and consequently the worse I shoot. I prefer a little lighter cue.

what size shaft 12?

I personally wouldn't go above 12.5 but some people like playing with a bigger shaft. It's really just a personal preference. I'd go to a billiards store and test a couple out and see what feels best.

haha that sounds terrible.

Cutec makes great products.

You should get a regulation 9ft. table if you have room.
