A report from Dallas on Thursday said that an arrest warrant has been issued for Bills linebacker Von Miller on a charge of assaulting a pregnant person.
Per the report, Miller has been accused of assaulting his longtime girlfriend in their home on Wednesday morning. The Bills, who have a bye this week, have issued a statement in response to the report.
“This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller,” the statement said. “We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.”
Miller was previously investigated for domestic violence in 2021, but never faced any charges. He could be a candidate for the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt list as the accusation is investigated.

Von Miller hasn't had an impact at all for the Bills since he returned from injury. Putting him on the exempt list would be doing the Bills a favor at this point.

I've learned not to pass judgement until the facts are revealed. There is always more than one side of a story and the truth typically lies somewhere in the middle.

A man should never hit a woman for obvious reasons but, in addition, no matter how right he might have been in his argument, he automatically loses. The issue automatically shifts from the subject of the argument to the simple fact that he hit her.

She wasn't sent to a hospital and was treated for "minor injuries" so the good news is that it shouldn't have any effect on her pregnancy. it sounds like he struck her a few times, bad enough, but at least he didn't drag her by the hair and throw her down a staircase. He screwed up but I hope he wasn't a complete animal. The term "assault" covers a pretty wide range from a slap to broken bones and internal organ damage.

I hope it's a situation where he deeply regrets it, receives the appropriate punishment, commits to anger management, and puts it behind them so they can move on to bringing their baby up together. These kinds of incidents don't just spring up for no reason, I don't think it happened because dinner was ten minutes late. She's a victim but that doesn't mean she couldn't have created the circumstances that might have led to him losing control. Again, not saying that Miller isn't accountable for his actions, just saying here is more to the story.

Evidently had a similar issue in 2021 in Colorado. As they say, Innocent until proven Guilty.

He has a history of incidents, would not be surprised if this were true.
