Buffalo's run defense just got a whole lot more stout. Stroud, 30, hasn't quite been the same since undergoing ankle surgery in 2006, but he's one of the game's premier tackles when healthy, which isn't often. Profootballtalk reports that Stroud will receiver more upfront money on his current deal, but won't get a significant raise from the Bills.
Johnson is a versatile player who has been Minnesota's third tackle behind the Williams behemoths the last few years. He could have some untapped potential, and should fit in Buffalo's tackle rotation. This could mean the Bills are dropping out of the Marcus Stroud bidding.
