Odell Beckham Jr. already is the NFL's all-time most productive wide receiver through 16 games. Though, according to several Bills defensive backs, he's also a sucker punch artist.

Following the Giants' 24-10 win over Buffalo on Sunday, several Bills players told the Buffalo News that Beckham seemed to have perfected the art of throwing post-whistle punches and walking away before officials would catch him in the act.

“A guy like that,” safety Duke Williams said, “you expect him to be a stand-up guy but I guess it is a part of his game. He likes to throw cheap shots here and there and gets away with it. I guess it’s his thing. Right in front of the referee and he threw a jab at me and ran behind his teammates. He ran away. I’m just like, ‘Wow. That’s crazy.’”

Fined $9000

Why didn't the league suspend him for a game? Supposedly, if a player is flagged for throwing a punch in a game, he is ejected. $9000 is absolutely nothing for him. I probably shouldn't be so judgmental since I didn't see the infraction first hand, but if he indeed threw a punch, he should get a suspension rather than a meaningless small fine.

There is a video with the story. The punch isn't earth shattering but he does throw a punch and then run.

I just looked up the punishment for throwing punches, and found that a player will be flagged and ejected for throwing a punch if it is flagrant...not exactly sure how the league defines "flagrant", but I guess OBJ's act didn't meet that definition.

I wonder if the refs will watch him more closely now?

If that had been Dez, story would be front page and back page news.

Along with never ending "violent loose cannon" references and replays of training camp skirmishes. And likely a suspension after a miraculous "closer review"

It didn't but likely wasnt noticed by the ref either

After reading this as well as watching his games I have to say he reminds me of DeSean Jackson a bit. Both little punks.

No, the officials didn't notice, but I thought the league still might suspend him once they saw the play on film. I guess they deemed the fine appropriate for the crime. Once I saw the play, it just looked like a little girl throwing a punch slap and then running. A fine was appropriate, I think.

The way he threw the punch they should have just smacked his hand and said no-no
