Who was willie mcginest talking about when he told BP you got a player. I couldn't make out the name of the player that Willie was complimenting. Did anyone make it out.

Mr. Ellis.

Pretty sure it was Ellis since BP had been comparing them.

I also liked how McGinest gave Parcells some advice on how to make Greg comfortable in the position and certain plays that would make him comfortable.

Good for Willie!

He is the prototype for what Bill wants to do with Greg..and I have been waiting for him to bend Greg's ear and explain to him how such a move can 1) PROLONG a player's career and 2) make him more marketable thru versatility.

And remember, Ellis is one of Jerry's kids that for some reason people around don't like.

Not to mention Ellis has a chance to be an even better player at LB than DE. Not saying he will but the opportunity is there. Ellis was stuck at above average at DE.

It's good to see you back. Wish you would post more.

Especially with the 3-4 back in vogue.

It was definitely Ellis. I liked how Willie told Parcells a couple of defensive calls to make that would really make Greg feel good about the switch.

You could tell Parcells was telling everyone without coming out and saying it that the experiment with Ellis and it's apparent success is the key to us becoming a dominant defensive unit. He was very happy about it.
