He had a losing record with the Jets.

I don't get the appeal but I'm not a Bills fan either.

I live in upstate NY, and this will be "TO" all over again.

Although, it might turn out to be a successful move. After all, Rex specializes in defense and has one of the best (if not the best) defense in the league to work with. Problem is, he needs to find a QB. If he brings in Trestman as OC, then maybe he can work some magic again.

He couldn't find an offense with the Jets so let's hire him in Buffalo where he will need to find an offense.

I can't see how this goes wrong.

The only thing that would be more comical, would be if the Jets turn around and hire Maroone.

He's a solid coach. The Jets could not put together a decent offense during his tenure, but I feel like that was mostly personnel related.

I don't think he's anything special but I guess they do so there you go.

Ehhh its a case of being a team with no franchise QB, nothing that sells tickets, it's not a great destination to try and draw a quality coach.

So they take the best of what is left.

Ryan is good with defense. he has a really good defense to work with there.

If they can some how find a way to manage some meger offense they can win some games and seem like they're going in the right direction.

I mean all he has to do is get a QB to give him at least what Sanchez did his first couple of years and he can get into the playoffs and win a few playoff games.

But they'll ultimately wind up just like the Jets. With no real offense, unable to beat the elite teams, and he'll wind up failing there as well.
