Long- time suffering boys fan here, like most of you. I hit the big 4-0 this year and man...it sure was fun back in the early 90s as a young man in the glory years!! It's been a loooooong time since. '95!! Dear Jerr-ah...make is all happy and grant these few bday gifts in April:

Go after Melton and Levetrie in FA

Rd 1 Warmack
Rd 2 Barrett Jones (teammates and future, perennial pro bow G and C)
Rd 3 best FS available (Rambo, Elam, Reid)
Rd 4 QB or WR....(5'10" WR from West Va would be amazing)!

Don't care what happens beyond that and don't care how we have to maneuver in the draft to get these 4 players.

We would be in the thick in the NFC postseason next year, no doubt.

I like Melton, not just because he's a fellow Longhorn alum but also because he reminds me of Randy White. Interesting fact is that both players were recruited as RB/FBs.

That 5'10" WR from WVU is going in round 1...early 2 at the latest..good luck nabbing him in round 4

We can't even afford Melton or Levitre, let alone both.

I think I'd probably like another athletic LB, maybe one who is there in the 4th. I know the kid from K State won't be there, but another guy like him.

I noticed recently that I've made a LOT of posts about him. I try not to harp on one thing too often, but I don't recall a better fit who is going to be there in the 2nd, or maybe even 3rd, in a long time.
