Bengals avg 3.1 yards per carry, which is only better than 2 teams in the league. Which 2 teams are they better than you ask??

3-1 Rams
4-0 Vikings

Yikes.......AP, Benard, Hill, Gurley.......respected running backs in this league........that's terrible though. I wonder how much would they average against our defensive line though lol.

That is a bit odd with those teams.
You have to have a good O-line and balance it out.
How's are these?

Dallas #2 Offense
Dallas #2 Time of Possession.
Dallas #1 Average yards per rush att.

With a rookie QB leading the team, and a rookie running back who's on pace for 400 touches this year. Crazy!!!

I noticed that the Cardinals' vaunted defense didn't do much better against the 49ers than ours did,,, giving up almost the exact same yards per carry and total yards. Gabbert didn't have the same quick start this game though, his crap passes started early and the receivers made stupid drops instead of unconscious catches. In the end the big difference was the special teams turnover and 2 interceptions instead of the one interception Gabbert threw to Mo.

Bengals are missing Eifert in that running game, as well as their entire offense. They also lost Sanu and Jones in the passing game. their offensive coordinator.
I think an OL or 2. Lost one, other has an injury, but not sure on that.

But losing 3 receivers as well as Eifert's blocking. But not all that sure how his run blocking is, but missed none the less.

Turnover ratio has a huge correlation to winning. A running attack? Not so much.

Yep. Sure helps tho.
Oh for sure! In our case most definitely!!! If forced to chose though...would u take our running game or the Vikings defense? As the old saying goes - great running games wins championships. Oh wait. ;)

To be fair, the Bengals have played Denver, Pittsburgh, and the Jets. Tougher to run against those teams.

Or in the cases of Vikings and Rams (somewhat) stellar defense that creates turnovers and sacks. Bigger factors to wins than running the football.

Vikings are a top 3-5 defense in this league. Especially at home.
