Give me a 4-3 defensive coordinator, and let's switch back.

I'd do it in a heart beat.

This 3-4 nonsense has done us nothing.

I know. What the hell was New England thinking when they hired belichek? He sucked in Cleveland, no way he can change.

I'm referring mostly to the ones who had little to no success in their first head coaching job and quickly got hired again and the ones that keep bouncing around the league every few years like Norv Turner and Wade. It was 5 years after Belichick was fired in Cleveland that he got the NE job. Cleveland started off good in 95 Belichicks final season there until it was announced the team would be moving to Baltimore after that season. It took the wind out of their sails and they fell apart but Belichick did have one good season in Cleveland that led to an 11-5 record and a playoff win. Herm Edwards immediately was hired in KC after failing with the Jets the previous 5 seasons and failed again.

I'm fine with giving a HC a second chance who's failed at one stop if they had success the first time around. I certainly wouldn't immediately hire a coach who just got fired for losing with another team. Even a successful coach like Andy Reid needs some time off to recharge his batteries. Coughlin had success in Jacksonville and was out of head coaching for a couple of years before landing the Giants head coaching job. I certainly wouldn't hire a coach like Romeo Crennel who's failed twice with 2 teams over an 8 year period and think he's just the guy to turn my organization around.

According to what i see, Michael Bidwell has stated Andy Reid will be interviewing for the Cards HC job tomorrow,
