I recently came across a Black Double Star Romo Jersey and wondered, have the Coywboys actually even worn these jerseys? If not, why would they make Black Cowboy Jerseys?

No they have never worn that Jersey. They make a pink one as well, thankfully they don't wear that one either.

Thought so, but being only 34 I wasn't sure if maybe they wore them in the 60's or something. They shouldn't be called "Throwbacks" then....call em costume Jerseys.

I also live in Canada and I get all of my jersey's on e-bay. The only ones you can find in the store are screened on for $100.00 + tax. I can get a jersey with sewn on name and number with shipping included for $50-$60 on e-bay.

You can get loads of Cowboys gear in Toronto and Pickering. Stores like Champs, Footlocker and just retail sports stores are usually loaded with Cowboy gear(Jerseys, T-Shirts, etc.)

I get all of my Cowboy gear in Pickering, but its obviously closer to Toronto that it is to London.

Ask around work and just look through the classifieds or just drive around plazas and look for sports stores.

i will also never again buy a jersey w/iron on numbers and names. they last a few years and the numbers are in tatters.

the jerseys i get on ebay i'm sure are knock offs. hard to get a $150 jersey for $50 unless it is. but what the holy hell can you do to a jersey that makes it $100 better than the knock off?

i've paid $90 a jersey for many jerseys i can't wear anymore and i've bought a lot of other "official" cowboys stuff. at this point i just want a good jersey w/o having to take out a loan to get it.

the ones i've gotten on ebay look pretty real to me when i hold 'em up side by side. the "authentic" seems a tad thicker and better overall, but unless you're playing in the damn thing it's nothing the normal person would need.

i shop on ebay and when i find one cool, i get it. if official, great. if not, great. i don't really care one way or ther other anymore.

just ordered a witten one all stuff sewn on for $40 shipped. no it's not "reebok" but don't really care. if anyone wants to know PM me later and i'll let you know if even worth the $40 to get it to me. : )

That is definetely a bootleg, they sold a black romo on the cowboys site for $130, the ones on ebay that are $50 are def bootlegs, you just have to check quality as some are really bad and some are close, usually check the player name plates thats where you can tell the difference. I have gotten a few boots but I, for myself, like to have the authentics.
