I know he's not at the DMN anymore, but Kevin Blackistone was on the Brian Mitchell show here in DC today and it was mentioned that he is a big Redsk*ns fan and a Redsk*ns season ticket holder!

I never like the guy's writing or his take on the Cowboys... maybe this explains why!

Never liked the guy. now that you mention this, its like Avary Johnson (Maveriks coach) saying sumthing about the ''Commanders'' at a Dallas Game...

So what? He's not paid to be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys anyway. When did he leave the DMN anyway? I didn't care much for his writing, but that has nothing to do with his Cowboys takes.

And it wasn't Avery that said something about the 'boys, it was Darrell Armstrong. I'm a big Mavs fan and he got on the mike and shouted "How 'bout them Commanders" after they kicked our arse in DC last year.

I think your mixing up Avery Johnson with Darrell Armstrong. Darrell is a big Commander fan.

Actually it was Darrel Armstrong who said how about them Commanders

Was he still whining about Ellis not getting paid enough by Dallas ???
:shootme:

Well hopefully Blackistone will be at FedEx while the Cowboys kick the Commanders back sides from one end of the field to the other.

Alot of local beat writers and even local talk show personalities in Dallas are not Cowboys fans.

Actually, Blackistone was born and raised in DC that's why he is a Commanders fan. Journalism is merely an occupation. If I were a writer and worked for a paper in Philly I would never stop being a Cowboys fan, so I can't hate on the guy for being a fan of another team.

If Blackistone was a baby...

If you guys ever really met him, you would like him, he's a good guy....alright, even though he is a Deadskin fan.

I just didn't like that he was the DMN's resident racial story guy. He always over did it too.

Just recently, he was one of the writers (Along with Gerry Fraley and Scott Burns) who took the buyout offer.
