I liked what Bell did last year. He had his moments.

But Dallas was not the place for him. He went right back where he came from. He did not want to be with the Cowboys.

Therefore, he should be shunned and hissed upon going forward.

Lol. You lamenting Blake Bell.

The rueage.....
Jarwin will be back and Schultz was pretty good. Blake was not getting a roster spot. Also, Pitts falls to ten and even Shultz may see the door

Exactly . He was so affordable as well

KC is paying him 1.1 million. What's that, a few 100k over vet league minimum? Same with LB Joe Thomas. He went to Houston for 1.5 million. Is Dallas that deep at LB that they couldn't afford him? I'm guessing they figure they can replace them with much cheaper rookies.

With the year Schultz had last year and with him being a FA next year, I bet they are planning on drafting TE3 in the draft this year.

I actually saw a few bright spots from Bell, and he definitely deserved his roster spot.
Blake Bell leaving has virtually zero impact on this roster.
Losing Blake Bell signifies a rosters relevance.
Bell is a welcomed member to Reid, and will put him right there with Kelce, good understudy, great mentor.
This Cowboys roster and FO is no where near ready to begin developing TE#3s.
We are just trying to find starters at this point before the season actually begins.

Actually it stinks...means we gotta find his replacement....finding guys that actually block...is getting harder to find.
Yet fans still shake their heads when we sign players like Noah Brown.
Fans just see the catches and TDs.

I don't see Pitts being available at 10 - but if it happens...do the Cowboys
A) Ignore him - and pick either Farley or Surtain II
B) Select Slater if he's there
C) Trade down with a team that really covets Pitts and get an extra 2nd
Do I hear comp pick?
I hope the Eagles take Pitts @6.
He needs to go somewhere before 10.

I was hoping to keep him. The one real blocking TE we had, and did well in his limited opportunities as a receiver. But a team can’t keep everyone.

Would it make you happy if Pitts was available at 10 and we traded down with the Chargers at 13 and also got back their 2031 2nd as well?

It's not real glamorous but a blocking TE plays a vital role in our offense. I'd be willing to bet they replace him with someone comparable. Maybe the ND guy if he drops.

You are just being ignorant, and un attentive, if not, you would know that if Pitts fell to 10, If I was pulling the trigger Pitts would be a hard pass.
Slater would give me pause
Surtain would make me consider
Honestly if Pitts fell to 10, you either take him or try your best to move back if Surtain and Slater were somehow both still available as well.
At 10 we are standing cool with several top prospect scenarios staring us in the face, its a trade back scenario all day if we have t he deal in place and ready to roll.
Worst case scenario and a discussion Ive had with a few very trusted that I speak with,, may seem absurd to most but his very scenario came up in a very recent conversation
with lets just say the liquor store guy, because I can never reveal this source... tells me over a couple of beers sat night.
What if Chase and Smith some how both end up sliding all the way to ten.
Oh my, that will never happen.. really?
Have we ever seen anything like that happening on draft day?
