The FITH Ranked All Time NFL QB in attempts and completions TODAY!!!

Milestone in reach: Cowboys quarterback Drew Bledsoe needs 11 completions to pass Vinny Testaverde (3,688) and Fran Tarkenton (3,686) for fifth place on the NFL's career list.

He should have that by the middle of the second quarter if not sooner.

Awesome personal accomplishment for Bledsoe today!!!

At least if his "career is over" today if we lose, he'll have passed Vinny in Completions.

Whoop-dee-doo!

I hope Jerry has Bill stop the game just like he did a few weeks ago when Terry reached that personal milestone (whatever it was, but the player said he isn't "into personal accolades", so he probably has forgotten as well), brings out a big cake with sparklers on it and does a jig with Drew on the fifty yardline.

Make that the endzone.

Clever of you to bring this up before the game. I wouldn't want to belabor it if it's another loss, tho.

If he doesn't win the game, it doesn't mean a thing.

I would hope that Bledsoe aspires to more than just passing Vinny in completions. Does he want to pass him in interceptions, too?

Like Hos said, this milestone means nothing if we can't git r done.

I don't care about Drew's records-if we don't win this game, even HE will shove his records in the sand.

That is a great feat.

Lets hope Drew and the Oline come to play.
We can't run the damn ball and protect our QB.

What Drew has done with this so far has been above expectations. Its all on him today. Thats for sure.

Win #8

Drew also has an outside shot at passing:

Fran Tarkenton #5 Attempts (needs 44)
Dan Fouts #7 Yards (needs 419)

For those who want to talk about Drew's accuracy, well if he needs only 11 completions to pass Tarkenton but needs 44 Attempts to pass Tarkenton, you can see he has a better completion percentage than they do, while passing for slightly less yards per attempt.

If a player has a long career, sure, he's going to break a ton of records. Doesn't mean he's the best or that he's any good.

Bledsoe's career hasn't been that long. If he plays a many games as Elway and Marino, he will finish #2 in Attempts, #2 in Completions, #2 in yards, and #4 in TDs. Meaning he has had the same average numbers per game a those greats.
