I know it was not mentioned by Aikman or Buck, however Bledsoe got up after that hit with a dazed look in his eyes. They same thing he did in that early season hit

Did Bledsoe have a concussion? It looked to me after his TD he was blasted and hit hard on the head.

I think it affected his decision making big time, holding the ball to long, throwing at the ground, etc....

Fool me once..........

This was the excuse we were all willing to extend the last time Bledsoe sucked against a decent team. The team said he was fine and he looked fine against the next weak little sister that came along. No, I think he just is what he is. He's a guy who can beat who he should be able to beat and a guy who will play like he did yesterday against a good team. Simple as that.

Someone reported he got sand lodged somewhere but I could not confirm those reports.

Uuuuuuuuuugh....yes, yes he is. In fact, he may miss next Sundays game against the Texans, just to be on the safe side.

I get it.

Well I don't know about the concussion part, but I wondered if he didn't re-injure his back (see Jax game) or his throwing shoulder. He hit head first on the running TD, and was hit in the act of throwing 2x on his right arm. The only evidence I can counter this assertion with is the heave to Glenn which drew the PI. The rest of the day he was underthrowing a lot of passes, specifically the first two picks.

Hurt or not, he made some bone-headed decisions, regarding when and where to throw the ball.

My wife doesn't watch much football, and certainly doesn't know much about football. She occasionally pays attention to the Cowboys game when big plays come up, ect. She mentioned last night that Bledsoe didn't look the same this year as he did last year. She said he doesn't throw as well.

Now, she is an obvious novice. But, sometimes people like that notice things better than us, because they only see it on occasions and don't look as deep as we tend to look.

It's kind of like when you haven't seen someone for a few years, you really notice when they gain weight. Much more noticable than if you were with them everyday.

Interesting.

Actually I think there has been a drop off in his performance from last season. His throws haven't been as accurate for the most part as last year. While certainly our OL must bear some brunt, we gotta live with that we got. And Bledsoe isn't going to et us to where we all want to go--to the playoffs/deep into the playoffs/SB. Do we need improve our OL--probably starting with Adams at LT (maybe McQuistan) and Riveria (maybe Proctor) later this year/next year or draft some quality OL who can contribute on the first day--although that's not a given since some top OL drafted in 06 were inactive yesterday. If not the draft, sign some young FAs & consider cutting Adams or Riveria at end of season/right after FA situation becomes clearer and we have prospective on McQuistan/Proctor.

Could it be because he is hurt? That tends to make someone underthrow or in the case of a concussion make bad decision....

Look guys after all Bledsoe did to cause the loss we were still in it until the bitter end on the road in Philthy!!

I'm not a doctor but in my opinion he did not look like he was injured. I think the hit he took on his TD run may have hurt but it appeared he was fine and even smiling afterwards on the sideline I would think if the trainer felt he was hurt they would have checked him for a concussion or if they did check him they felt he was good to go.

Then something, somewhere in the Cowboys organization is broken. Either Bledsoe was hurt and knew it but decided to cover it up thereby hurting his team OR our medical staff is so inept that they can't tell when a guy has had his brain tenderized.

No matter what the case, the man should not have been in there. I would have yanked him during the third quarter.

(Not for being hurt...for sucking harder than Vanessa Del Rio on X)

Geez - now we are blaming the team's medical staff for the loss.

What next - are we going to blame the locker room guy for using too much bleach in the laundry?

No, genius.

The original submitter postulated that maybe Bledsoe was hurt.

I said if he was hurt then our medical crew must suck because they failed to detect it.

It was all hypothetical.

Here's an idea...actually READ all the posts and understand them before you try to impress us all with your smarmy repartee'.

Ok that is enough, just knock it off right now.

I went back and watched that play again and he did NOT get hit in the head at all on that play. He didn't even hit his head on the ground. Not the reason this time. In Jax I think it was but not this time.
