We've all heard how Drew collapses after week 7.4, but a look at the past 3 seasons in week 13 suggests that game has been exempt from any slumps:

2002 (W) vs Miami 3 TD 0 INT 306 Y 15/27
2003 (W) @ NYG 2 TD 0 INT 252 Y 19/29
2004 (W) @ Miami 4 TD 0 INT 277 Y 19/30
2005 (?) @ NYG
-----------------------------------------------
Total: 3W 0L 9 TD 0 INT 835 Y 53/86 Rating: 128.8

I'm a Bledsoe fan, but I gotta say... that's one HELL of a job cherry picking stats! :)
I'm still waiting for a no-huddle ballistics show... I think all this talk of a running game is setting us up for a surprise!

Damn, thats nice. This game also means a lot more than all of those other week 13 games.

"This game... means a lot more"

Not really - in all 3 of the previous week 13 games the Bills were facing virtual elimination. They were 5-6 in 2002, 4-7 in 2003, and 5-6 in 2004. In 2003 Drew had concussions in consecutive weeks right around week 12 and hadn't thrown a TD in 5 games. In week 13 of 2004 Drew had his finest game of his whole Buffalo tenure IMO, throwing 4 TDs 0 INTs at Miami in a shootout (Miami had the #1 rated pass defense and was one of 2 teams to beat the Pats that year, the following week).

PS - in wk 13 2002 it was snowing. That was one of my favorite games for Drew in Buffalo. Peerless caught a 20 yard pass and had 53 YAC for one TD. Moulds had a one-handed TD catch in the endzone, plus another TD. Drew had a stretch of about 3 for 3 with 2 TDs and 198 yards at one point in the 3rd quarter.

I was citing from memory, but here are the 3 plays:

D. Bledsoe pass to P. Price for 73 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Caught at BUF 41, right side. (3/3 177 Yards 2 TD Rating 553).

1-10-BUF43 (2:10) D. Bledsoe pass to E. Moulds for 57 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Tipped by S.Madison before one-handed catch at MIA 5, over middle.

1-10-50 (12:02) D. Bledsoe pass to E. Moulds pushed ob at MIA 3 for 47 yards (S. Madison). Caught along left sideline at MIA 15.

Kind of like when Bledsoe's detractors cherry pick every bad moment he's had to make their case :)

Fact is, the guy has been quite successful not only during the season but also in the playoffs, with 2 championship wins and numerous other playoff wins. Not to mention a very good 1st half in a superbowl before his defense and special teams let him down.

Fact is, you don't get to where he is at statistically as a top 10 all time passer without some really fantastic games, coupled with bad ones.

Fact is, Bledsoe also has what many qb's don't. Durability!! He is probably tied with Brett Favre in that statistic. How many qb's can say they have played with pins in their thowing hand, concussions, and broken arteries? Ask Big Ben, Chad Pennington, Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick about that sometime :D
