Drew is not being honest with his fans, his team, and his owner.....If he is hurt which many people pointed out both at the game and at home, then he

should fess up and say "I'm hurt and not 100% I cannot play" but because
his bad experience with Brady still haunts him, he does not want to see

Romo come in and do great...and I think thats selfish of him...I'm tired of these Veteran quarterbacks who want to redeem there past by not getting a

superbowl by trying with good teams, only to let there demons haunt them (yes yes, drew has a ring, but we all know he didn't win that superbowl and even he said it)

again with there new team.....If bledsoe's trainers know he's hurt, and he knows he's still hurting either by the concussion which by the way I dont

think they ever said it was a concussion, then he should not play regardless of his preseason play...also let me say this....there is also a lot of pressure on Bledose because "IF" he gets replaced by Romo, and Romo does good and

remains the starter this would be the 3rd time for Drew would stand aside aned be replaced, I think it would be too much for him to handle and it would not look good on his resume end result ....end of career...

Please, if it was any other player, we would be calling him a hero for sucking it up. I am not a fan of Bledsoe and never have, but that just not right to call Bledsoe out for sucking it up.

Its should be coach that should be doing that not Bledsoe. Or the Training staff etc.

Maybe I live in fantasy land but don't football teams including the Cowboys have medical staffs or assistants and even specialists on retainer. I am sure Bledsoe had to be checked out for his personal and team liability reasons.

Yes they do. But Player still can make that decision to go ahead, if they can't see anything tangible. Its then the coach's decision based on what he is seeing to make the judgment call.

So the fault is with BP if he saw Bledsoe struggling because of his back issue and still didn't pull him.

I have to be honest now...didn't want to but I felt it was only fair to the board, fellow posters and the cowboys as a team.

I am thinking we could have had those thoughts in an exisiting bag on Bledsoe thread instead of making a new one.

Honest.

Right. I think Bedsoe being a professional, he would tell them he is injured and get his treatment to get better. I think we as fans owe him that much. This has nothing to do with another "Brady" situation. I give him more credit than that.

Because let's be realistic. You never know what and when someone will emerge. But from what you seen of Romo, do you really think he's the next Brady. Yes he looked fantastic in pre-season. And he may be great at some point. But give Drew some credit here.

Right. And the fact is:

We don't even know what Bledsoe did or did not tell the trainers and/or coaches.

We don't know what the trainers/coaches knew or asked.

We don't know what was ailing Bledsoe yesterday.

Tough to assign blame in the absence of knowing what did or didn't happened.

Nothing wrong with speculating, though .....

well BP today said that Bledsoe is healthy, so maybe he is, and just got dinged up yesterday, on gameday BP can only go by what his players tell him, and obviously Bledsoe felt fine enough, or told BP he was, to stay in the game

btw, you guys seriously think a veteran, leader, QB is going to pull himself from a game to start the season?

:hammer: and even if he's being selfish, he has a right to be, this is his offense, and it's the 1st week of the season, noone is going to want to come out

Yeah, lol.

All this has been said in another trend, don't know why we started this new one. Heck, I have expressed my thoughts about this since last night in that other trend(says the same thing). I'm too tired to type it again in another trend about the same thing, lol, glad someone else pointed it out.

He's afraid that if he says he's hurt, Romo will come in, play well, and that will be that as far as Bledsoe's NFL career goes.

I dont know about you guys, but I don't want a QB that gets dinged up and is looking to sit on the sidelines because he's "hurt". I want a QB that we have to drag off the field.

Yeah, this is one of those darned if you do, darned if you don't situation.

If it was Favre, people would applaud his bravery, courage, and toughness. Since it's Bledose, he's killing the team and being selfish.

There is a possibility that Drew isn't that injured and just played poorly. There is a possibility that he feels liike he should be out there with his team. I mean, he did get a TD that gave Dallas one more shot.

I think, as unfortunate as it is for a fan, we have to sit back and let this thing work itself out. Bill may love Drew, but he won't sacrifice a season for him or anyone. If Bledsoe can't do the job for any reason, Romo will be in the game.
