Bledsoe on all time passing list

Young doesn't win a Lombardi, he's not in Hall.

My comparison was in ages - Young won his Super Bowl at age 33. Bledsoe is 33. Bledsoe wins a Lombardi in Dallas he's in the Hall of Fame.

You're losing it, Nors. Again.

Young was an all-pro four times; was a two-time NFL MVP; was selected to the Pro Bowl seven times; he held six passing titles; he threw for 232 touchdowns; and he rushed for 43 additional touchdowns!

It's not unreasonable to believe that Young wouldn't have been inducted as a first-year candidate, but to say that he would not be in the Hall??? That's just not sane. :bang2:

Steve Young won his 1st SB at age 33, and he's not near the QB Bledsoe was. Elway at what 36 till he won one? Its all about the Lombardi.

We protect Drew with this cast - this team is a Super Bowl contendor, I think thats vastly overlooked....
Simply put, if Elway had NEVER won a Super Bowl, he would have been a first-year ballot inductee. Period. To think otherwise is just plain nuts. :lmao2:

Brady gets OUTSTANDING Oline production. Forget pedigree - he has a team in front of him that protects him.

Sometimes a QB also has to protect himself by making smart decisions and quick reads. And that is not accomplished by patting the football and dithering in th pocket until it collapses.

Without question...He could still make the Hall without a lombardi IF he eclipses the 50,000 yard mark. DONE DEAL..

Young spent the majority of his career as a backup. Lucky to play in San Fran with a dynasty around him. He's a borderline Haller without a Lombardi.

Of Course Elway would get in, as did Marino. I was pointing out a lot of QB's never won a Lombardi till late in career.

Bledsoe gets 50,000 yards and could challenge for all time completions. He's in rarified air. Add a Lombardi he's a Hall of famer.

Wow, so many tangents so little time!

Bledsoe can easily surpass VT in passing yards and he could with the right success from here on out make the Hall. But it would take marked team success to be sure.

SY IMHO was the best QB of all time not to wear number 12. His overall pass/rush ability was unparalelled.
