Bledsoe or Culpepper

Drew Bledsoe never had Randy Moss to throw to. Culpepper has not proven himself without Randy Moss. If the ball was anywhere near Moss he caught it. How did Culpepper does this season without Moss? More ints than touchdowns. Don't use the exuse that he didn't have an oline, because Bledsoe's line sux balls

Not so sure about that. I always wondered how Daunte would do without playmaker and security blanket Randy Moss.

If this season is any hint the answer is not good. In fact he was leading the league in INT's with 12 through only 7 games and had been sacked an amazing 31 times in those games behind a better OL than ours. The Vikings were 2-5 in those games with the only wins against sad sack NO and GB. The proof that Daunte was the problem is the major improvement the team made when Brad Johnson took over. And Bledsoe is better than BJ IMO.

Major improvement? Maybe part of that was that some of the injured players that the Vikings had to start the season came back to the team. Also Koren Robinson was able to be fit into the offense once he learned the playbook. Johnson didn't suddenly start lighting up the place. Just like you said that the Vikings only beat NO and GB when Culpepper was the QB, they only beat Detroit(twice), Green Bay, Cleveland and St. Louis when Johnson was the QB. They also beat the Giants, but that wasn't because of the offense. They had a kickoff return for a TD, a punt return for a TD and a interception return for a TD in that game. Then the beat the Bears in the final game and that game was meaningless to the Bears.

I like Brad Johnson and think he is a good back up, but he didn't magically resurrect the Vikings. Culpepper is good. Having Moss helps, but it wasn't the only reason that Culpepper has been able to put up some very good numbers in his career. I would love for Culpepper to be a Cowboy. I don't see it happening and I also have two reservations. He was badly injured. How long would take to fully heal? What is going to become of the love boat incident?
