Bledsoe really didn't score on that dive at the goal line

lok at the tape.

they gave it to him.

Lucky.

I think most here know that... but we would have likely scored on a subsequent play...

I agree, he did not score. We're lucky we kicked the extra point so fast.

Though I'm hopeful we would have eneded up scoring anyway.

if the big white line is considered the touchdown point then he did the ball at least grazed the line. If you have to get beyond that line then nah he didn't make it. That was a fumble by eli though the ball came out before his hand went forward I watched it ten times. That was a bad call.

Wow man. Who cares?

Does this have any effect on anything, or can anything constructive coaching wise come out of such a fantastic observation?

If the nose of the ball hits even the front of the white line it is a TD. Having said that he may have been shy of it then again I'm not sure if replay would have reversed it or not. Evidently Coughlin felt that way and thus did not challenge the call.

It makes Parcells decision to axe Bledsoe all the more brilliant, right?

We are in for some great posting over the next few weeks. I can't wait;)

then ya it was a touchdown the ball got like an inch into the line before he got hit.

I'll just say it was close and would not have been over turned either way. Call on the field stands due to inconclusive evidence.:laugh2:

Frankly, with as many bogus calls/ref situations as we had up until that point, I don't care if he was an entire yard short.

You know what...since we lost the game by multiple scores it really does not matter much.

Not that it matters, but there's no way Coughlin challenges that play. they had already used one challenge on the manning fumble/incompletion. That would have expired all of their challenges with 3 minutes left in the first half of a close game... no way they challenge it.
