Forgive me -- I know I'm a day late but I just finished watching the pregame show and the first half of last night's game. My wife programmed the TIVO to record something else besides the second half. So I am not privileged to knowing how well Romo performed.

In the pregame show, Babe Lafenberg (sp?) commented about Parcells quote earlier in the week that the timing was right time for a change at QB but the first person he would speak with was Bledsoe. Babe seemed to believe that there might be a change at some point at that Big Bill didn't close the door on anything. Now from what I've seen in the first half, Glenn is on fire -- but I wasn't impressed with Bledsoe. He did well but I thought the receivers were performing well fighting for their roster spots in particular Rector.

I only mention this because early reports before camp and this TO episode began was that Bledsoe and TO had no chemistry, but Romo and TO were looking good. Now I did not see Romo's performance last night, but I was just thinking that despite his inexperience this maybe the perfect situation for Romo to takeover. The talent is around him with the running game and the receivers. The thing I like most though is the TO circus. TO loves the spotlight and could keep this circus going to take media pressure off of Romo this year.

With our defense and the potential firepower on offense, Romo would only have to be a busdriver. But I think he's a playmaker.

As little faith as I have in Bledsoe to lead us to a championship, I would hate to see Romo start his NFL career having to deal with TO, no matter how much moxie he shows in games that don't count.

The Romo story is over. Babe is the only one keeping it alive. Romo is the back up this season barring an injury.

I really wouldn't put too much stock in supposed lack of chemistry in practice when the judges are mediots.

wow that bledsoe didn't impress you

he has been in elite QB territory imho, he has audibled well and put the ball on a tight rope more than once.

You weren't watching closely if you weren't impressed with Bledsoe last night. But, yes, the WRs have looked pretty good--from top to bottom, almost.
