I wonder if Drew would cosider taking some type of class to improve his feet, thus making him more mobile in the pocket and out on the edges? Both Roethlisgerger and Hasselback have shown that straight line speed is not needed to be considered mobile.

Try building an offensive line that can protect the QB and a running game?

Two things Bledsoe lacks. And we outplayed Hasselback and Saints on road and lost due to a missed chip shot field goal.

This is a team sport - not all about Drew Bledsoe ONLY. Hasselbeck a month ago was a career scrub yet Manning, Brady, Delehomme, Plummer were made to look like scrubs when their protection fell apart in playoffs?

Drew Bledsoe has never been considered a "tireless worker" when it comes to his mechanics. That's one of the knocks I have against the guy. He's always had flaws that kept him from being a top-level QB but never shown the work ethic to fix them.

I think a stupid throw figured into the Seahawk game as well.

Saints ? Must be a typo...

Even the best offensive line will have breakdowns in protection at times.

The 2 best QB's I ever saw play, Roger and Joe Montanna had a knack of escaping the rush, then making a big play...WHEN THE PRESSURE WAS ON.

Bledsoe, given time behind the line and time to read the D, has a great arm and can make all of the plays. Its when things breakdown, well...So does Bledsoe.

When Roger or Joe were behind in BIG pressure games, fans and teamates felt confident they could bring them back for the big win. I don't feel that way about Drew, can't speak for his teamates. But that is how I feel.

Shoot me for wanting a Roger or Joe.

Every team wants a Roger or a Joe - There's at best 1 player a decade like that. So stop the presses till you find that?

Our Offense this year had the 2nd best offensive output since 1995. Bledsoe was a big part of that. Fix the Line and get a running game and we are over the top.

MIKI - We make that FG - game is over and there is no late interception. We still outplayed a 13-3 Super Bowl team on the road......

How bout you take some sorta class to improve your football knowledge. Bledsoes fine with a line. Hell at his age, he aint improving much of anything but his bank account now. If your looking for a revitalized Bledsoe forget it. Get him a line and all will be good. Without it,Vince Young would not be able to do much here but run for his life.

We lost to Seattle because of the bone-headed pick that Bledsoe made near the end of the game. Hasselbeck used to make those kinds of mistakes 2-3 years ago,but Bledsoe still does after 13 years in the league, that's the real problem.

You're absolutely right, a big-time qb still makes plays when things break down and Drew aint no Roger or Joe. Heck, he aint even a Troy Aikman.

Fixing the OL wont make him a good decision maker, just ask Champ Bailey about Drew's early christmas gift. Doesn't it dawn on you that we finished with a 9-7 record, missing the playoffs, and in 2 close games against quality competitors, Drew threw dumb picks that gave the game away. Even if we had made the playoffs, he would have made the same mistakes there too. Drew's picks in those games kept us from going 11-5,not the OL problems.

Please READ and comprehend. If we had made chip shot field goal a few minutes earlier game is over and we beat Seahawks. Fact is we outplayed 13-3 Superbowl Seahawks on road and should have won.

Hasselbeck? Choked in big games with huge game losing picks past 2 seasons. He's not all of a sudden a Haller QB!

We haven't had QB production like Drew had this yearsince mid 1990's in Dallas.

Even the great Tom Brady threw a horrible pick to Champ Bailey as his protection broke down. It happens to the best of them sometimes>

Say it ain't so. LOL Your right it happens to every QB out there from time to time. Even the great Aikman had some bone head picks under pressure. The pass aginst Seattle was Bledsoe mistake no question about it but the 4 come from behind victories that Bledsoe lead had a lot to do with a QB who keeps his head together and does not get rattled. There is a reason Bledsoe is ranked as one of the best come from behind QB in the game.

Shut up Kartr. He made one bad decision in a game. Big deal, Every QB makes that mistake. Favre even threw a pick once that was returned. Montana and Young, Even Aikman, Are all these bad decision making QBs.

Bledsoes a damn good QB and you should be proud to have him on your team.

The fact you hate Bledsoe is well known, The fact your so damn anal about this is also well known. You dont have to take every opportunity (and make a few up too) to bash Bledsoe, we know you would rather have Carter, but that dreams long been smoked away. Get over it and quit hating on anybody but Carter.

I think that is an understatement. Favre has all the tools, except good decision making. He won a lot of games and will be hall of famer, but if he could make good decisions he would have SEVERAL rings by now.

LOL....

Augh....... The beauty of revisionisam.

It's true, Cortez did miss a 29 yard FG but lets be honest here. That snap was not great. I would also point out that Cortez, while he didn't win it for us, didn't lose it for us either. We lost that game on on a 3-7 pass play inteded for Witten who was double covered with 14 seconds left to play in a tie ball game. A game in which we rushed for 164 yards or 4.2 per carry and won the time of possesion by almost 9 minutes. It was a game in which our defense held Alexander, the NFLs leading rusher to just 61 yards on 21 carries. Held the SeaHawks, as a team, to just 72 yards. Held Hasselbeck to 224 yards and just a 58.0 QBRT. it was a game in which Bledsoe passed for 136 yards of his own, went 13 for 24, a QBRT of 50.00 and threw two INTs, one of which we've already discussed and the other, a pick on the Seattle 9 yard line with 2 minutes left in the first half that ended the drive. Say what you want but in that game, you can't boil all this down to Cortez missing a FG. Your boy played horribly in that game. To his credit, in his own post game interview he commented on same. Basically said, in his own words that he had a horrible game. Took full responsability for the loss. I do give him credit for being a stand up guy about it.

Ashwynn, why are you insulting people? It's just a topic for discussion for those who would like to, and if you don't like the topic, then no response is needed.

I think Studsoe has improved his footwork dramatically the last few season, especially in Buffalo where he played behind atrocious offensive lines.

Make no mistake, he's a statue by design, but he DOES have the ability to run a naked bootleg or QB Draw for a TD from time to time.

I'm so happy we have such a dynamic, versatile QB on this team now.
