Yeah I have lost some faith in Bledsoe and it will take more then this KC game to get it back. But I just saw that deep pass to Glenn on ESPN and daym he threw that ball 65 yards on a rope and it got there extremely fast.

I will say this about him. I do not think there is ANY QB out there who can throw harder or throw it furhter then him. Favre and maybe even Vick have arms up there with Bledsoe as far strength goes but after that there is no other QBs that even come close. And yeah his accuracy on those medium and long passes is really something to.

Now if he can just do this against the Skins next week.

Very true. The questions have been some of his really dumb throws and choices.

I will say this. If Bledsoe can throw 2 TD passes and 250 yards against the skins and we win and his play was big in the win then I will have regained faith. The Skins have a good D. So if Bledsoe does have a good game against that Skins D I will put up a post in that Bledsoe apology thread.

The bomb is the most amazing play in football to me, but something about Drew's deep ball has a special spin and accuracy, especially to Terry Glenn. Still I always hold my breath when it's in flight.

Bledsoe has always had a rifle...however it's passes in the flat to Champ Bailey that have smeared his career...

I'm usually up screaming by then. You can tell (just like Aikman's deep throws) when a WR is open. Can't explain it either.

i happened to notice in the skins/cards game that Warner still has a very quick release and the ball zips right in there no problemo. when Warner has time and gets comfy, he still has the arm...
i've seen some of drew's deep balls fall short and some sail long, but a lot of them go for TDs also. :)

To me Bledsoe still underthrows Glenn on too many deep balls. Even today, Glenn really had to slow down to get the ball, and last week when he had that pick near the endzone, if he OVER threw it, ZGlenn would have had a chance to get it, but it was badly underthrown and thus intercepted.

When Bledsoe can get his feet set, there isn't a person who can throw it any better. His weakness is that he needs everything around him to go perfectly. He does not do well when it gets even the slightest bit hairy. If we could somehow, some way keep him protected, we can win damn near every game. The problem is we just can't and when we can't, he starts throwing off his back foot, throwing horribly inaccurately because of it and it just gets ugly and so frustrating.

Pray for good blocking is all I can say.

That's what amazed me about today's performance. Everything wasn't going right around him. The pocket was collapsing all day long. However, Bledsoe was sticking in there and making the tough throw, often getting creamed for it. The blocking was horrible today against a mediocre defense. Bledsoe's #s today fall squarely on his shoulder's, not the pass protection provided.
